Featherfoot could hear the kits playing, stirring something in her heart.

Yarrowstar walked over to Featherfoot. "Would you like to go on a border patrol with me and Hawkpaw?" He asked.

Pinepaw grabbed as much of the dirty moss in her mouth, ignoring the bitter taste. She bounded out of camp to get rid of it. She returned and grabbed some more, repeating the process many times until she was finished. She looked proudly at the clean elders' den.

Sparkfly closed her eyes again and walked to Shadepelt in her seeing sleep, but it was very noisy bringing the real sounds to life in her mind. Her mother meant that she would imagine everything in the way she senses it! She scooted closer to Shadepelt and smiled. "Woah, I never knew what I liked sometimes, but now I know it was the right thing!" she said giggling at him. "Whenever I shut my eyes, except for when it's night time and I sleep I can see everything!" she whispered to Shadepelt.

"That's good, it must be nice for you." Shadepelt meowed, signaling with his tail to Amberheart for her to wait just a moment. "Would you like to join Amberheart and I for hunting?" He offered.

"Sure!" Sparkfly said excitedly. "Now that I have a new techniec, I can do anything I want." she said smiling fancily.

"Oh, don't get too cocky now!" Shadepelt meowed, flicking Sparkfly's shoulder with his tail-tip. "Then something bad will happen," he reminded her, beginning to exit camp after Amberheart.

Sparkfly smiled and laughed. "I know! It's just that being blind makes my life limited and I just get overwhelmed." she explained still faintly laughing as she smiled.
