Angelica sat on her front porch, her hood up and her eyes focused on the asphalt road. Her fluffy gray cat Thunder lay in her lap, enjoying being pet by his owner. She breathed silently, her gaze unbreakable.

Krystal chuckled as she went out the door as they headed towards the lake Shadow bounded towards them with more dogs at his heels

When they got to the lake, Jake took of his shirt to reveal his well muscled body. He then slipped out of his shoes and jogged to the edge of the lake. "Come on Krystal!" He called and slowly waded into the water.

Angelica sighed as a couple walked down the sidewalk, giggling and laughing. She knew that's all she ever wanted, but she also knew that wasn't possible when it came to her personality. "Who could love a freak like me?" she repeatedly asked herself.

When Brighton didn't reply, Caleb slipped away and drove away from the party. As he was driving home, he saw a beautiful girl sitting on a porch. He stopped the car and hopped out. Caleb waved to the girl and slowly made his way up to her.

Angelica immediately looked up as she heard a car stop so close to her. Her neighborhood tended to be quiet. She blinked a couple times, wondering if he was actually walking toward her. She gently set her cat on the porch and stood up, taking a few steps toward him. "H-Hi," she stammered, Thunder rubbing up against her legs.

Caleb looked her over for a second then replied, "Hey...I just moved here, My name's Caleb." He introduced himself and smiled down at her cat. "He's cute, what's his name?" Caleb asked, then silently cursed himself for not asking the girls name first.

Angelica was still in a state of shock. Why was such an attractive guy talking to her? "His name is Thunder," she responded, her eyes not directly focused on Caleb. She bit her lip, staring at the wooden porch. "I'm Angelica by the way," she added in a soft tone.

"Nice to meet you Angelica, at least I now know one person my age in this neighborhood." He grinned and bent down to pet Thunder. "What were you doing sitting on your porch on a beautiful day like this?" He asked and looked up at her.

Angelica laughed softly and looked up at the sky. "What am I supposed to do? Hang out with the friends I dont have?" she asked in a slightly rude tone, but immediately regretted it. "Sorry," she apologized, glancing down and catching his gaze.
