Devil looked at her bemused as he spoke, cutting her off. "That wont do. If you wont have foals then what would your position be?" He pointed out with a snort. He was fine with Rose, but having a mare in his herd and not having foals was unnatural, and went against the way of things. His ginger tail gave a flick.

"Freedom" Rose snorted "Not a thing in a ignorant stallions mind" Rose snapped as she walked away.

Diego canter back to the stream to get a drink ,and after he waas done he , of course, went back to Kite.

Jace watched over his herd. He walked over to the stream and drank some water before looking around again. His mare were no longer in heat except for Lily but she didn't make it clear if she wanted a foal. But Jace wouldn't push her to carry a foal she didn't want. He walked over to her ad nuzzled her gently. He looked back to his other mares and smiled at them.

Kite watched the stallion. She knew that he was suppose to be in charge but really she was. She walked to the stream and drank some water. She flicked her tail at some pesky flies, which also spread her heat scent. She needed this stallion to focus on her before she was no longer in heat or before another stallion came and snaked her, which didn't bother Kite at all.

Diego followed Kite,and said,"Kite, I know the season's are going to change soon. " He added sofly,'Will .. you please, have a foal with me ?" He was slightly unsure on what Kite's answer would be.

Kite looked up at stallion when he spoke. She drank some more water before answering him "I don't know yet." She said softly. She need him to prove himself first. She didn't want a weak stallion to sire her next foal but he did survive to adult hood but something in him showed weakness.

Diego nodded to say he undertood , what she said.He wasn't the type of stallion that would force a mare to have foals,but he'll give Kite some time .But in the mean time , he'll stay with Kite ,and protect Kite with his life. He knew that some lunatic stallion,would probably to steal Kite,from him,and he wasn't willing to take that gamble.

Kite lowered her muzzle back to the water to drink more. She then walked into the water until it hit her belly. She stood there in the water and relaxed with her eyes close but her ears were on alert.
