This Strix seems to like the dark and is pretty quiet towards others, maybe that is influenced by what they are colored like. They prefer silent hunting mostly, sneaking slowly and making a surprise attack. Because of this they usually don't run all too much. They prefer sleeping in the day and staying up at night, you could almost say they are nocturnal.

Cloosee, it is an owl, but, I will say it's not an owl with Strix in its scientific name, its usually white too. You can guess again =3

Not quite, good guess though. The coloration is the opposite of albino, and the owl is pretty common to see as well. There was a whole movie with the main character this species of owl.

Yep! Its a barn owl with melanistic color, which is basically the opposite of albino. So it makes their coloration darker, so the Strix is yours. =3
