The pitch-black kit crouched down, measuring the distance. He leaped as high as he could, stretching out his forepaws. One of his paws brushed against the moss, but he wasn't able to grab it.

The tiny kit awoke with a jerk. She looked around at her surroundings and shivered. Where am I? she wondered. She was laying in some ferns..not with her mother. (I guess whoever has a warrior free to find my kit is what clan shes in )
