Runekit sat at the entrance to Shimmerclan, starring at the cats inside. He didn't know them, but his mother had abandoned him there, so he assumed this was where he belonged. His tiny ears swivelled back and forth, taking in all the sounds of the clan. He sniffed the air and recoiled at the strong scent of prey and strange cats. He stepped into the camp tentatively and set off towards the leader's den slowly.
