Hiking up one of the forest slopes in Verdon Gorge you spot a unusually small animal peeking out at you from a cluster of small trees. Its eyes are aqua, the color of the rivers below you, and it has beautiful grey, black, green, and aqua markings, like its eyes; each marking is very unique and the tribal marking on its shoulder is simply beautiful. It seems like it wants to make friends, but is completely silent and obviously shy. You instantly want to make friends with this Ochiru.

Lost in the Echo

Lost is very mysterious. He's your typical "strong and silent" type. He prefers to watch and observe before jumping into action. He doesn't speak much, but when he does, he's emotionlessly blunt. He won't sweet-coat things; he'll get straight to the point. He may be your typical "lone wolf", it doesn't mean he won't help someone if they're in need. But he will usually roll his eyes afterwards at their carelessness. He tends to be a bit sarcastic. Lost is also very monotonous.
As if he wasn't mysterious enough, he also doesn't like to stay in one place for too long. He travels a lot and tries not to make ties in places. He tends to stay near waterfalls and caves with vegetation. He likes rainforests and anywhere else there may be water.

As he lay on the flat surface of the rock, staring down at the roaring waterfall, the cryptic ochiru let his mind wander. He let himself get lost in his thoughts. It wasn't unusual for him to lose himself so deeply in his musings, but today he allowed himself to get lost further in his subconscious then before.
He remembered his childhood. A peaceful time when the ochiru known as "Lost in the Echo" was known as something more simple.
Madara.
Bravery.
He was loyal and protective. Brave and friendly. He enjoyed being with others. But one of his biggest faults was being too gullible. People took advantage of him. Even after being warned multiple times,
"You can't trust anyone completely, Madara. They could take you for themselves. You could lose yourself..Lose who you really are. And do you know what's left?..
Nothing. An echo. An echo of your former self.."
That was all in the past. The male ochiru's tail swayed slight before he let out a soft sigh.

Gen is extremely shy around strangers, but she does eventually open up and reveal her true personality to those who are patient and kind enough to see so. She loves to have fun doing what she enjoys, which is exploring and swimming. She is quiet and soft-spoken, and is not one to yell or speak up very loudly. She tries to be kind towards everyone she knows, and is very empathetic, letting them know that she cares about them. That said, she is not easy to anger or upset, and she does not hold grudges often. Gen will avoid those that she holds a dislike for (rude/loud bullies, and the like).

Ha. As if this would be hard. As I looked over her, I quickly saw the design on her shoulder and thought of a labyrinth, hence the picture to the right. So, obviously, I would name her Labyrinth. I think this suits her nicely, not only because of the design, but because of her personality.

Honestly, Labyrinth sound a bit femine to me. Also, she just looks female. So, clearly, Labyrinth would be a female of the Ochiru.

If I had to describe Labyrinth in five words, they would be Shy, independent, curious, quiet, and just diffrent. She's shy when you first meet her, but she'll warm up to you over time. She doesn't rely on others to do things for her, but she secretly wouldn't mind it from time-to-time. She is always getting into things, but she's just an innocent little Ochiru. She is quiet until she knows she can trust you, but when she gets to talking, she won't stop. She's just not like any other creature. She loves to be unique, and she does a good job at it. She's always on the move and she does what's best for others whenever she can. She is amazing and she never gives up. She is definately one-of-a-kind. (136 word count)

She was very curious. There was nothing wrong with that, but when you combined it with her stubborness, it always led to trouble. She had just been wandering around all alone and a bit lost. If it hadn't been for her amazing sense of direction, Labyrinth would be considered lost. Finally, she found what she had been searching for. Had she looked down, she would have seen a wide gap falling down into a river of rushing water. The water was peaceful and the wind was soft. But, instead, she looked straight. Taking a deep breath and a few steps back, she raced foward and lunged. Her heart skipped a beat as she soared through the air. Her feet landed with a soft thud on the other side. With a single look back, she trotted foward. Their meeting place wasn't the best, but it was nice. As she got to yet another branch of the river, she slipped down. Labyrith slid down into a small gap in the rocks, not clearly visable from the top. "Hey, Laby." Said a voice from infront of her. She trotted foward and let her head rest on the girl's shoulder. Suddenly, there was a click and the candle over-head lit the small cave. The girl had on a knee-length dress and boots with shoulder-length brunette hair. I looked back towards a small opening. "It's okay. I've got it right here." The girl said. She pulled out a small container and opened it. Inside was a salad. Labyrinth ate the small salad happily, lettuce being one of her favorite snacks. "Bye, girl." Said the girl. She gave the Ochiru a small hug and slipped out of the cave, leaving Labrynth to sleep for a while.

Kida is very mysterious, and you often don't hear or see much about her. She doesn't
like to call attention to herself, because as far as she's concerned, she's just an
ordinary girl trying to make her way across the universe and find her true self. She
somewhat dislikes being out in the public most of the time, although when you
happen to become a friend of hers, you'll find that she's very outgoing and
ambitious. She loves to learn about the world around her and can be described
as a childish philosopher, in a way. She adores asking questions and
photography, and being outside close to nature and the earth. Although when she
needs to be, Kida is a fighter and will stick to whatever she believes to forever.
