Pinepaw waved her tail goodbye to Echowish and the kits before padding to the apprentices den. She curled up in one of the empty nests and fell asleep.

Blackpaw trotted after Pinepaw tiredly, and laid down in a another nest.

Pinepaw opened her eyes but she was no longer in the forest. She was in a starry forest, filled with whispering voices. Pinepaw turned around to see her mother, padding closer to her. Pinepaw ran over to her and began licking her mother's voice meowing, "I knew it was all a dream!" Dancingpansy pulled away and meowed, "This my dear... is a dream. For I am truly dead and will never return to you." Pinepaw shook her head and meowed, "No, you can't be dead!" She backed away and flattened her ears sadly. "I have been dead for many days now... I know, it'll take time for you to believe that I will never return but... you must protect WolfClan now. For I and your father and your sister... cannot." Pinepaw pinned her ears back against her head and meowed, "It's not fair! I lost my entire family!" Dancingpansy meowed, "Many cats died... but their kin has no sat around looking for missing love from a tom or she-cat." Pinepaw growled and meowed, "I love Blackpaw! And that is none of your concern even if you are my mother. Most cats who have lost family, still have family! I have absolutely none!" Dancingpansy vanished, leaving Pinepaw nothing but an empty dream.

Blackpaw squirmed and rolled over in his sleep, he come back to when his parents, when he and his sister had to watch the cats murder them, he squirmed under a huge cats grasp and heard the one that was hurting his mother growl, "After we're finished with you guys your kits are going to die!" He swiped his claws across from her neck to across her chest. Blackpaw stared at them and screeched, "No!" He squirmed and struggled to get the huge tom off and than saw them kill his father and he finally jumped out of the cat grasp and helped Silverpaw quickly and he tried to run bit he had to drag his sister and he heard the cats yowl, "Stupid kits! Get back here!!" But Blackpaw struggled and pulled his sister than he ran into a cat and looked up at her than he woke up with a start and looked around the den wildly, he sighed and closed his eyes again and mumbled, "I wish they we're here."

Pinepaw sat up and meowed, "Who?" She had been up for a few minutes after her visit with her mother in StarClan which she wouldn't speak about.

Blackpaw realized she was awake and looked at her than looked down, "No one.." He mumbled.

Pinepaw padded over to him and laid down beside him. "Alright.."
