Description:
Trivia town lies nestled deep within the shadows of Viridian Country. The knowledge of its existence is arcane, known only to a select few. Trivia Town is really somewhat smaller than an actual town, more accurately categorized as a village, yet its extreme urbanization and vast knowledge of technology implies that it ought to be thought of as a city. It is a hidden empire, bordered all around by thick, dark forests. Many rivers lace their way through this area, and mountains rise up on all sides to leave Trivia Town in a valley of shadow, hidden far apart from the other cities of Viridian Country.
The residents are few, and the dwellings sparsely placed.
The houses in Trivia Town are small and modest, yet usually modern for the most part. The main priority in housing is to have one’s house well hidden, for in Trivia Town, you never know what might happen next. The houses are spread far apart in a way that does not allow anybody to have a direct neighbor. The town is always flawlessly clean, yet people are seldom seen to be moving about in it. There are no stores, no pubs, and just about nowhere else to spend your money. That is, unless you know where to look. Everything in Trivia Town is a private franchise and all exchanges are done on the down low. All transactions are held in some dark alleyway, a hidden underground room, a massive hollowed out tree or some other form of hiding place.
Viridian country is composed of a few towns and cities, and most of them allow their inhabitants to live a relatively normal life. They each have the typical structure of a residential town with the odd park and nature reserve to allow people to enjoy the scenery and a recreational center here and there. Overall, it is a perfectly normal country… Unless you know where to find Trivia Town, that is.
The Plot:
For a hundred years or more, the world has been building up to this moment. Pressure can be felt in every step, and there is a palpable tension in the atmosphere.
Hidden near Trivia Town lies the secret underground base of the Dark Alliance, a government organization working to save the world and everybody in it, and they are willing to go to any means to do so. The Dark Alliance’s base, Black Room, also serves as a research facility and a holder of government secrets. The members consist of a team of the best scientists in the world, skilled assassins, ninjas, strategists and just about everyone else the government has to offer. The Dark Alliance is their trump card, and they will do anything to assist it.
The Dark Alliance’s current, all-important mission is the study of The Mechathol, an otherworldly creation that holds the answers to the universe. It is an all-powerful entity that could do unspeakable damage in the wrong hands, or give the people who learn to master it all the answers they need to take over the world. The Dark Alliance are studying it, trying to unlock its secrets and unleash the frightful power upon all those who threaten the peace of the world. They plan to create their ideal world, where the government holds complete power, and defying them is an impossibility. Justice will be served upon all wrongdoers, and only those humans pure enough to deserve life will be allowed to live peacefully under the government’s rule. Thus, all evil in the world will perish, and only the pure will remain.
The only problem is that The Mechathol is unresponsive. The Dark Alliance are holding it in a fluid tank, unconscious, to research it safely. From the outside, The Mechathol appears to be no more than an average 15-year-old boy. More specifically, Anthony Knight; a boy who, until recently, was just another resident of Trivia Town. That is, until The Mechathol awakened. Now, Anthony is the world’s greatest asset, as well as its greatest danger.
Meanwhile, within Trivia Town, the winds of change are starting to blow. A small group of people, fondly nicknamed ‘The Rebels’ by their supporters, are planning to use their unique gifts to go against the Dark Alliance before they are to be robbed of their individuality. The Dark Alliance are fighting them with full force, and sending out their finest warriors to apprehend and destroy these menaces, but The Rebels continue to defy them. They are determined to steal the Mechathol, not only to save the world as they know it and maintain their own individual freedom, but because Anthony had once been one of their own. However, The Rebels haven’t a clue that Anthony and the Mechathol are one and the same. As far as they know, Anthony was simply captured while trying to steal the Mechathol, and is being held prisoner deep within the enemy lair.
The last important thing about The Rebels is that they are a select group with special ‘gifts’. The Rebels were born with unique powers, each their own. This is what makes them such a great threat to the Dark Alliance… They must be stopped at all costs!

Rules:
1. Site rules apply.
2. This is my RP, so I will settle any disputes, and what I say is final. I promise to be fair, so please work with me.
3. I will roll a dice or flip a coin or something of the sort to decide any challenges in the RP.
4. NO godmodelling. Power Playing is allowed ONLY with the permission of the player you wish to power play.
5. Mini plots or twists are not only welcome, but greatly appreciated, as long as you don’t forsake my plot altogether. Eg. “The Rebels decided to abandon Anthony and go to high school where they lived normal teenage lives and Mary became prom queen.” … See how lame that is? O.O But if you want to do something like… “Mary decided to embark on a secret mission to a nearby town as she had heard that they sold military supplies that she thought could help them rescue Anthony, but she was intercepted by Dark Alliance warriors on the way, and a fight broke out.” See? That is helpful. It keeps the action rolling, without diverting from the plot completely.
6. All main characters are to be Rebels. The Dark Alliance is the enemy. However, if you wish to bring in an antagonist character into the Dark Alliance, you are most welcome, as it would liven up the RP greatly! Besides that, any player is absolutely welcome to bring in a temporary character or ‘prop’ character into the Dark Alliance at any time to act as an enemy. You do not need to ask permission, all you have to do is make sure you play that character fairly and give attention to all players involved for the span that you use it. You can create and destroy your prop characters at will, they don’t need character forms or anything of the sort, they don’t even really need names. They are just like little ‘dangers’ to make things more interesting.
7. All characters live in or near Trivia Town. Your character may come from somewhere else, but for the period of the RP, they must be residents of Trivia Town.
8. All characters are allowed 2 unique powers. Not ridiculous powers, mind you, and not the same or similar to anybody else’s. For example “Controlling the elements” would NOT be a power. “Controlling fire”, however, would. Nobody’s powers may be foolproof. Nobody’s powers may bring back the dead. When one player’s power is in effect, you MAY NOT ignore it, but you may attempt to counter it. I will be the judge there. I may flip a coin, but if it is something like “Bob locked Mary in a rock coffin.” “Mary summoned a toothpick to try to dig her way out.” Then I may just use my own logic to decide. Again, I promise to be fair.
9. Be creative, imaginative, inventive and try your best to type 3 lines or more if you can. Those with writer’s block are excused.

This role play is supposed to be enjoyable, despite my stupid rules.
