Silverfeather woke up and laid boardly in his nest in the medicine cat den. His legs felt no worse, but no better.

Shadowpaw watched a mouse nibbling on a seed by the root of a tree, she crept foward and pounced but the mouse had already scuttled away. "Foxdung!" she hissed under her breath.

Ashkit lay idly in camp. He looked around for something to do.

Mintleaf stood up and streched her legs before laying back down to her three mewing kits.

Silverkit slowly opened her eyes then closed them "Bright" she muttered.

"I'd love to!" Shady said happily.

Whitefoot covered Windkit with her tail.

Mintleaf licked her head, "Yes little one" she purred.

Tigerkit heard Silverkit and forced his eyes open, "Wow" he exclaimed and closed them again.

Badgerkit decided no to open his eyes yet and snuggled deeper into Mintleafs fur

Silverkit opened them again and looked around.

Streampaw smiled "Her name is Windkit, her mother died at kit birth and her father was banned from the clan so she really has no family" she said heading into the nursery.

Windkit opened her eyes "It's cold" she said

Mintleaf purrs and watches her kits finally see the world.

Tigerkit stands up and opens his eyes, he sees his mom and purrs. Then he sees his sister and looks at her.

Whitefoot curled up tighter around the kit. "Please don't die, Windkit. I need you, baby girl." she cried.

"Poor kit. I'll take her in." Shady said. "Lead the way"

Silverkit looked around "Uh so big" she muttered pawing at the ground.

Streampaw lead her in to the nursery "Whitefoot has been looking after her while she was sick" she said sighing.

Windkit closed her eyes again,
