Rivermist was padding towards the border when she heard a familar voice say her name. "Hawkstar?" She meowed, confused. She walked back for couple of moments and saw a brown tabby pelt. "Hawkstar, what are you doing here?"

"I.. I wanted to see if you were okay," Hawkstar said. He paused. "I also wanted to know if you found anything. I could help you look, if you aren't done yet."

[Falling_Star]

Skyfrost stiffened as Hawkstar offered to help. "Say no, say no.." She muttered under her breath as she waited for Rivermist's reaction

"Well as you can see, I'm perfectly fine." Rivermist meowed, blinking. "I have only found stale scent of the badger, that's all. I should finish soon, I'm almost done, but I guess we could get finished faster together."

[Falling_Star]

Sky frost snarled inwardly and began backing away slowly, leaving before she was noticed.

"All right," Hawkstar said, nodding. "Where were you going to head next? Before I came, I mean." He looked up at the slightly orange leaves on the trees. Everything seemed peaceful-- a good sign. Still, Hawkstar couldn't shake the feeling that not all would turn out to be well.

"That way." Rivermist flicked her tail to her right. "After that part, we're done. I'm glad I'll finish quickly." She meowed, her voice sounding more lively than how it was a few moments ago. She looked at Hawkstar and slightly frowned at his expression. "Erm, Hawkstar, is everything alright?"

[Golden Sun]

"What?" Hawkstar said. "Oh. Yes, everything is fine." Which wasn't exactly the truth, but it was close. Everything was fine at the moment. The sun was shining, the forest was relatively silent (or at least, as silent as a forest could be), and the badger seemed to be gone.
He had just had a bad feeling. It didn't have to mean anything.
"The sun is starting to set," Hawkstar remarked, partially to himself. He began to walk in the direction Rivermist had pointed to. "We should finish looking around before the moon comes out."

" I would consider Myself to be a fairly well rounded she-cat. I am quite responsible and I know what's best for me, and sometimes I must make that desicion for my careless brother. I love helping the medicine cats and I am only an 'Okay' fighter and hunter. It's not that I don't try, I'm just not the best... I love the water and would consider myself quite a good swimmer, and it's not bragging in my eyes to say that I am good at something.I like to make people laugh and I hope to become Medicine-cat One Day. "
