Ghost growled, holding Fuji down with a paw as gently as he could manage. "Fuji, don't make it any worse...We don't want you hurt again... Its not what they would have wanted."

Chako leaped in front of Fuji, snapping, "NO! I can't afford to lose you too! Leave that scumbag to me". Teru and Chiyo were gone. She was going to take care of them. And they both died painful deaths.

Fuji growled at Ghost, but didn't do anything else. She glared at Apollo, giving him the kind of look that said 'You're so dead!', Then struggled out of Ghost's grip and trotted off, ignoring Chako.

Chako barreled into Apollo's chest, cracking his ribs. She pushed down on his chest, sending the shards towards his vital organs.

"Fuji..." Ghost sighed, shaking his head. He cocked his head, perking up his ears. He raised his head, sniffing the air. Something weird was at work...

Chako felt satisfied as a little shard poked a lung, not puncturing it. She relished in his howl of agony.

Apollo snarled and jumped off knocking her off "I'll kill you, I'll kill you all!" he howled and lunged at Chako's neck.

"NO!" Fuji whipped around and smashed in to Apollo, hitting him wih a force she thought never existed. "GET AWAY FROM CHAKO!"

Apollo lunged and Fuji grabbing her neck "SHUT UP!" he screamed

Chako took a huge chunk out of the back of Apollo's neck. He would NOT harm Fuji.
