... No one is going to go rush to hoard owls because they're retired now. Demand confuses me. Wouldn't people want something that is retired?

Everyone wants "the next thing". Owls are not wanted now since they are old. People just scramble to have what's "hot" so they can wave it in everyone else's faces >.<
