They are a hoarder and it is insane for them to have THAT many, hoarder or not...

If I might just add, considering you're speaking of me and you have recently sent me a trade, I would appreciate if before making a rant you know the story behind my BAs and what I've paid and did with them before.

I've seen many rants regarding Hoarders as of late by people who assume rather than ask for fear of offending said hoarder. For those who have known my hoard long enough and seen me in action with accumulating my BAs, I overpay grossly for my BA, which is hands down my favorite pet on CS because of personal history. I've overpaid with my BAs with Julys, Augusts, and other high demand pets like the Joker when I had them. In fact, I sacrificed my collection for my hoards. I accumulate pets to offer fair or overpay for my hoards, that's how I choose to play this game of collecting. Not only that, I've given away many BAs and sold many to people I feel who'd give them a good home, rather than just use them for trade fodder. In fact, If I hadn't given away/sold my BAs, I would have well over 100 BAs.

Before you pass judgement on a player, Hoarder or Non-Hoarder alike, ask for their side of the story. You'd be surprised what you'd find out.

I have to agree with Tif, most hoarders I know pay more then the pet is worth, even with demands, because they love the pet so much. I also know Tif has gifted away some of her BAs to people who deserve them. Hoarders are just like everyone else, we just collect a different way.

*Nods* I also agree with this, I never let hoards sit, after I have had my fun I find good homes for my pets, one hoard of over 100 horses was completely gifted out, another(my sortics) was half gifted half traded away to users whom I knew would love the pets <3

I keep getting trades from people Asking "What would you like for these?" and there like 5 commons/very commons, alight? So the first time I'm like, Its not big deal, just a few very commons I dont really have a use for, So i Just accepted the trade telling them they could have the pets for free.
Well ever since then, Im getting Tons of trades like that...
Its starting to really get On my nerves..

People think they can take advantage.

I hate that sometimes..most people try and sneak in a rare every now and then. But I agree, people DO try to take advantage of others.

I agree with Tif 100%. I hate when people say ''But it's a VR!! Now other people can't have their dreamies!!" Well, excuse me, but I have never met somebody who pays OMGSC for them. They pay plenty fair, usually even overpay. So yeah.

Another thing is when someone sends me a trade for commons/very commons and they are offering this month's pets. I've accepted a few of them just to be nice, but now people think Im going to do it all the time. Ugg.

A while back, I had this sorta rule saying that you can ask for free pets, if they're doubles and I absolutely hate when people who already have the pet, or already have a million rares and really just don't need any help what so ever come and ask for some uncommons or rares. It annoys me, but I mean.. I did say that they where for free. But ugh- confuses me.. I just removed it eventually..

And then a while back when I was a bit younger, and pretty much had no idea about rarities, I traded away my butterfly wolf ;n; -head desk-

Ugh...why is it so hard to read five short trade rules? -_- Got this just now: suggestion with the message "What would u be willing to give me for this?"

3. Please avoid sending a suggestion, and no open "What do you want/what will you trade" offers.

Seriously, I cannot make it any more straightforward than that...and that is certainly not the first one I have gotten like that, nor will it be the last, I'm sure.


Also when people say that they are looking for "missed outcomes" without saying which pets they need. I think most people who write that just do it without thinking, since they know what they are missing. But the rest of us are not psychic; how the heck are we supposed to trade you the pets you are looking for if you do not tell us what they are? /rant

Exactly the same thing happened to me. I offered this trade to somebody about two months after I joined CS and believed I was underpaying. There's a CE Galaxy in there...can't believe I was so ignorant of rarities...can't believe somebody even traded me the CEG in the first place...and for an insane underpay...I had no idea what it was...grrrrr
