Dragons name: Bitey
I know it may not seem very original, and it certainly isn’t as creative as the other names that I’ve seen here. But Bitey is the name of my first Venus flytrap that resides in a terrarium by my desk, I wanted to give this lovely dragon a little bit of a personal touch!

Gender: Male

Personality: Bitey couldn’t be a more fitting name for this little guy, he’s bossy, sarcastic, stubborn, just unkind all around and he certainly wouldn’t be above giving anyone a sharp nip or two if they get on his bad side. Even those who do try to get along with Bitey get taunted, tricked, and quite possibly bitten or scratched, as a result of this he doesn’t have very many friends and even those who’re able to tolerate Bitey get the cold shoulder.
Although he tends to spend most of his days laying around, waiting for some unlucky insect to wander into his traps, Bitey can be very impatient with everyone. He also has a dislike for those with wings, as he feels that they’re “show offs with those bright colours and flashy feathers” personally, I just think he’s jealous.
But, If you get to know the little guy, he can warm up quite a bit and /possibly/ be less of a grump towards you, the occasional nip might be inevitable, though!

Motivation to why you want it: I’ve been watching these lovely dragons since the start, just lurking and waiting for the perfect one to catch my eye. Well, I’ve finally found him, and this fantastic dragon is also based off of a plant that means a lot to me, so it works out even better! Unlike some of the other adoptable species, your idea with the Teacup dragons is an original one and I adore that there isn’t another species around that looks as unique as these lovely fellows. The effort you put into each dragon to make all of the edits exclusive to that specific dragon is absolutely fantastic, I’d love to take one of these lovelies home and call him my own! <3
I have a whole terrarium full of carnivorous plants, with the Venus flytraps being my favourite by far. Bitey, this dragon’s namesake, was the one that I’ve had for the longest, I had seen the pre-grown flytraps at the store and it amazed me that a plant could evolve in such a way that it seemed almost like an animal, plus the fact that they thrive in places where most other plants don’t even dare to venture! I grew Bitey from a seed and it took way longer than I thought it would! But I really want to put the same effort into caring for this dragon as I do in tending to my plants! <3

Dragons name: Elfin, it means Small and delicate, typically with an attractively mischievous or strange charm in Latin

Gender: female

Personality: Elfin is very shy, she has always been that way because she doesn't have wings. The other dragons made fun of her since she was young, so her self confidence level is an all time low. Shes not afraid to speak her mind though, she is always honest even if its not what you want to hear. If your having a bad hair day and you ask her opinion, she will say yes, and she says it so bluntly you have no choice but to believe her. she likes to think of herself as an inventor. Shes always making contraptions and odd things. Her most famous is her leafshoot. Since she can't fly she had to find a way to be with the other dragons without the bigger ones carrying her by the scruff. The leafshoot is similar to a para-glider, it folds nicely into a staff that can be worn over her shoulder like a bow, but when its time to use it, it unfurls into a large triangular leaf that is perfect for gliding. She does have some odd quirks though... she is like OBSESSED with coffee. She sees all the other dragons sittin around in teacups, and looks down into the coffee mug shes sitting in and wonders why there not doing the same. But seriously she loves coffee, sometimes she even drinks 10 cups a day!

Motivation to why you want it: Well i saw her design when i was scrolling through the oekaki forums and fell in love. i actually have multiple venus fly traps at home. they live with an array of cactus's and a tarantula. I personally think the fly traps have individual personality's. When i go to feed them i don't really feed them fly's... sometimes i feel them the cricket remains my tarantula doesn't eat and sometimes i feed them corn! They seem to enjoy it, well as much as a plant can i guess. but as i was looking at Elkins design i could just imagine her tiny body squirming between my venus fly traps at home

(I know its not that original. . But I think it fits her well)

Gender:  Female

Personality: Venus knows she's different from other dragons. She was very shy and timid when she was young because others would laugh and tease her. They would leap into the air and soar away with bright colorful wings, leaving poor Venus behind on the ground "Go eat a fly!" they'd sneer at her. Venus would crawl away alone. Some days the others would show off their bright and beautiful wings and tails to eachother. Venus would hide in the grass with her dull stripes and watch them. In awe by their beauty, but also envious of it also no one wants to see my tail.. she would think to herself. But as she grew older, she found her differences to be more helpful for her survival. When ever the plants would die, the berries and the seeds her neighbors ate disappeared, Venus always had a way of catching food. Her unique body kept her alive and helped the dragons around her when they had no food. The others begsn to respect her and appreciate Venus. Venus never holds grudged, even after all the bullying she received.. Venus is always willing to help out anyone in need. She is selfless and the kindest dragon you will ever meet.

Motivation to why you want it:
She is just so.. different. I feel like I can relate to her because I have a lot of friends who are really talented in interest things my closet friend is drop dead gorgeous. They can soar and reach hights. I find find my self envious. But once k realize the things I am good at I start to feel better about myself. It sounds cheezy.. but its all true
