@Wildheart86- If you liked the movie that much, I'd recommend looking up the soundtrack/videos from the 10th and 25th anniversary casts, they're really great too- the movie skipped over quite a few songs, so there are others to be heard. Also, if you liked the story, you could always read the book (if you're an avid reader- it's huge) because it gets into a lot of details that the movie and musical missed.

@polkadot.com- As in London? Wow that's fantastic! I'd love to see it in London, or anywhere really. It's supposed to come out in Canada this year, in the summer I think, so I'm planning to see it then. But wow, you're really lucky- I'm sure it will be great! ^.^ And I agree- Russel Crowe was better than expected, and Hugh Jackman was, and always is, amazing.

I just found it, and I thought it was hilarious, and coincidental as well. What are the odds that two years later, she'd be playing Fantine? I loved her as well, Anne Hathaway was great!

Well it's the only musical movie but there are two concert DVD's. You can always find hundreds of bootleg recordings of the stage production on Youtube.
The book is wonderful and you should invest in reading it

On the topic of Flash mob-ish things... This is one of my favourites- it's so awesome, pit band and everything there! Love it! I want to go to a university with a theatre group that's this cool.

I was almost part of a flash mob at a speech meet, we were all waiting around for finals to be posted and Les Mis happened...it still counts if it was only four people singing spontaneously, right?

Maybe? It's good enough for me. At my Youth Group tonight, my friend and I were organizing the library of book in the foyer, which ended up being a lot more fun then it sounds because I had my iPod and since the movie, she's been in love with Les Mis as well, so I put on my Les Mis playlist (songs from the 10th, Movie and Original Broadway) and we ended up just belting out songs as we worked and forming new headcanons and side plots that could have potentially happened and it was the most fun I've had in a while. All while actually making a lot of progress on those bookshelves. I'm in a really good mood now ^.^
