James looked back at John, "Well, um Im going to my moms house," he shoved his fingers in the front pockets of his pants, "You guys can come if you want, my brother has a car...." He looked down at the ground, "If he hasnt left me, we are leaving the city.... hopefully well find someplace that hasnt been hit by what ever this is." There was a hint of pain in his voice as he said the last part.

John walked slowly and looked down at his feet, unsure what to say. He put his own hand in his pockets and felt the picture that he carried every where with him.

Ally scratched at her worn jacket. "A blanket will be good...thanks." She took the blanket from Adam and shoved it in her own pack. She wouldn't be able to put much more in or she wouldn't be able to carry it. She finished with the blanket and zipped up the pack. Now they were ready for an escape. She places the pack on the floor by the chair she had been sitting in and ambled around. "So, how long have you been hiding out here Adam?" She tried to make small talk...

Lorena headed farther into the house in the opposite way Gregory had gone. It was all normal. The owners seemed to have left in a hurry because there were unfinished breakfasts and unmade nests on the couch and table. The kitchen was also well stocked. Ally rummaged through the pantry and found something she couldn't believe. It was an XM25. A gun with six times the power as a grenade launcher and the ability to take out opponents hiding behind walls of concrete or stone. "Wow." Ally held the gun with extreme care and admiration.

I nod in understanding, watching the alley for any signs of infected. From under the hood pulled over my head I peer up at John. "Are you okay?"

Adam sighed and zipped up his pack, "Since it started, I woke up late saterday and when I went to watch tv the news cast was on every channel.." He tossed the pack around his back putting his arms through the straps, "Those things were every where outside so... I didnt even try to go out there."

Gregory slowly opened one of the doors in the hallway, it was the bathroom, no sign of infected in here. He closed the door and moved onto the next one, he cracked the door and a broom fell out and startled him, "Ahh," he let out a small yell.

James stoped and turned around waiting for the others to catch up, he hadnt realised it but while he was thinking of his brother he speed up his pace a little. He looked back at Fabian, he wondered if he came off a little mean earlier, he hadnt meaned to. He waited a bit for them to catch up, as soon as they did he began to walk towards the alley again, he herd some distant moans but for some reason there werent very many infected on this street.

John looked back to Fabian. "Huh?" His hand gently gripped the photo. "Oh, uh, yeah. Fine." He looked back forward and pulled his hand from his pocket, leaving the picture inside. He caught up to James and looked at the boy. "your brother will be there." He said, trying to reassure him.

James smiled at John slightly, "Hopefully, Id like to think he would wait for me but.." He gripped his guitar strap, "You never know..." once they got to the corner he peeked around the wall to make sure there werent any infected, there was a couple but they were pretty far off.

"Are we going camping?" Maria asked excited. "Yes, we are going to go travel, we are going to play a game and pretend that the people are bad guys. We can't be seen or heard. And if we are we are taken as hostage and loose the game." He explained with a smile. "No extra lives!" Maria asked her eyes wide filled with excitement. "nope. We have reached level ten." Andrew said.

"We can probably sneak past without being noticed" John whispered to James as he looked around the corner and peered at the infected.
