Baxter wasn't quite sure what just happened. He opened his eyes, pain searing through the top of his head. Before the strange female left, she had ran right into Baxter as he was getting back into the tunnel, causing him to bang his head right on the roof of it and almost push Icia right out the other side. He hadn't been out long, definately less than a minute, but that did not make up for how much his head hurt right now.
"Owwwwwwww..." He moaned, rubbing the top of his head. "Icia? A-are you still here? I didn't hurt you, right?" He looked around with tired eyes, letting them adjust to the darkness a bit. He could see the outline of Icia, though he couldn't tell if she was alright or not.

Anika stared blankly at the front door of the SuperStore, her eyes tired and bored. She was laying on one of the beds, and old but still comfortable one, planning on spending the night there. She'd been able to find a bit of food from the resterant, but no matter how tired she felt, she couldn't sleep. Something was preventing her, nagging at the back of her mind but unreachable to her. There was always a reason when a dog wasn't able to sleep, but you could never figure it out. Anika let out a loud, high-pitched yawn, licking her lips to try and get any few scraps she might have left on her muzzle. She tasted a bit of salt, most likely from french fries. Her ears twitched, and she blinked once. She wanted to sleep so badly, but she just couldn't.
She wondered what happened to that Chihuahua. She couldn't find the place where she had left him, and she wondered if he was alright. Did he get captured by those big dogs that had tried to attack Baxter from before? Or did another wild animal attack him? Anika felt a little concerned, which disgusted her. She'd never felt that way about anyone, anyone, not even Baxter.

Something pushed her almost out of the tunnel, although she was so out of it that she almost didn't feel it. A loud groan roused Icia's shivering form from her sleep, she was ready to snarl and snap out at the intruding canine but realized with a jolt that it was just Baxter. Blinking sleep from her bleary eyes, she squinted to make out his almost invisible shape. "I told ya not to take up all the room" she half snapped half murmured, her voice low and gravelly, still being half asleep. Noticing him rubbing his head and moaning in pain. "Baxter?! Is something wrong?" she looked at him, her soft blue eyes brimming with concern. With another shudder from the chilling wind, she groomed herself to try and stop her shivering, although to no avail.

Malina mumbled still tearing."Probaly I did it ." she sniffled and turned away still very upset.She looked at the floor and spit at it snarling.

[snarkie.]

"Yeah, I think I'm okay," He said. "I just hit my head. Hard. The female loner from before bumped into me, and I hit the top of the tunnel. I might've passed out for a couple of seconds, but I'm okay." He moved his paw away, noticing some red, sticky liquid on it. Was that blood from his head? Did he really hit it that hard on a plastic tunnel? He rubbed his head again, and sure enough, there was a little bit of blood oozing from it. Hopefully Icia wouldn't see, he didn't want to worry her at all.
"Seriously, I'm fine," He repeated reassuringly.

Malina looked back in the tunnel and yelped "i smell blood." She looked and saw the liqud and squealed "I didn't mean to!" she stopped and froze nervous.But more embrassed.

Suddenly, the loner erupted out of nowhere again and Icia widened her eyes, realizing what she had said. Snapping her head around, she lifted her muzzle into the air and it dawned on her that it did smell like blood, not only that, the scent was pungent and fresh, and her gaze flashed with worry. "You're bleeding!" Icia exclaimed, fretting. Craning her neck up to the height of his head, she placed her delicate paw on his shoulder and immediately started rasping her velvet tongue over his wound, blocking out the metallic taste, her eyes gentle as a worried mother's would be.

Kade heard a yawn, coming from a little farther ahead. He growled softly, padding toward it. "Who's there?" he barked.

"I never meant to." Malina whined.Then she cried "I so dumb and clumsy!" and added "Why oh why me!" She flopped onto the ground right in front of the tunnel,she sniffled and covered in muzzle in her paws.

As predicted, things became chaotic. Baxter sighed as Icia began to freak, desperately trying to stop the bleeding by licking the top of his head. Although it felt better, it was unnecessary to the English Shepard. "Seriously, Icia, I'm fine," He insisted, moving his eyes over to the loner female that had tripped him. "And you... whoever you are, it was a complete accident. It's really not a big deal, there's just a little bit of blood. It only looks worse than it actually is, really." Seeing as it was a head wound, it was bleeding a lot more than a normal cut. It really wasn't that bad, it only seemed like it was. Somehow, Baxter knew that his words wouldn't be able to stop Icia or the loner female from worrying about him. And somehow, he was kind of okay with Icia worrying about him so much. Did she really care about him that much?
Baxter layed his head down so it would be easier for Icia to try and lick away the blood. He knew that it would take more than this to stop her, and so he gave up on trying to convince them he was perfectly fine.

Malina nodded and said "I'm Malina,please may I do something to help." She then added "Like get water or food."Malina went a little deeper itn othe tunnel looking at how bad it really was.

[Echoes]

Flicking her tail, she completely ignored Baxter's attempt at reassuring her that he was fine and continued to clean his wound until she felt that it was bleeding less. Moving her muzzle away, she looked to Malina and smiled warmly. "Bax is right, it was just an accident, and I think I can get something if either of us needs it, but thanks!" Icia realized that she still had her paw on Baxter's shoulder, and removed it quickly, her pelt getting a little warm with the beginning's of a blush.
