You're walking carefully through the forest when suddenly, you see a pair of bright yellow eyes flash open in front of you. You jump back, surprised about this sudden appearance. Though the creature decides not to show itself, it speaks, in it's deep, emotionless voice.

"Welcome, stranger. I see you're new in these parts by you're surprised expression. Well, there's not many of your kind walking around these woods. Let me introduce myself, my name is Kieran, I belong to the Kyeran species. I know the names sound simalar but they are indeed written differently. You say you've heard of the Kyeran? I'm not surprised. Many people talk about us, to them, we're mythical creatures. Incredibly fierce and agressive, creatures that show no mercy. But not all of us are like that - yes, some of the Kyeran are very mean, but as I said, not all of them. Now, if you wouldn't mind, let me inroduce you to our species."
"So, now that you know more about the Kyerans, I'll go into detail about the Tribes and rarities of the Kyerans."
The Tribes
"There are six Tribes in total. I'll now explain more about each Tribe to you and show you their strong and weak points."
Tribe of Glistening Ice
"I can tell you the most about the Tribe of Glistening Ice as I belong to this Tribe. I've lived in this Tribe all my life since I was a little Kierrie."
The Tribe of Glistening Ice is a very special Tribe as we know the ways of spells and curses, we are capable of using magic. We have three devoted Shamans and skilled Hunters and Warriors. We are self-confident, calm, agile, proud, flexible and capable of many things. Now, though we may sound like an amazing Tribe, there are some disadvantages, for example, our Tribe is the smallest as there are really not many Kyerans capable of controlling magic, we are also not the brightest but have a great sense of humor, which can get quite annoying to Tribe-mates in some cases.
Tribe of Burning Shadows
The Tribe of Burning Shadows, they're not the nicest bunch. They get annoyed very quickly and are very agressive. Some of them have fangs like Sabres. They like to sort everything out with strength and agression. The advantages of being in the Tribe of Burning Shadows is their strength, cunning and mercilessness. The disadvantages are the constant agression and the fights going on every day.
Tribe of Scorching Flames
The Tribe of Scorching Flames is probably the most dangerous Tribe, as they can start and end a fight in a fire of flashing claws and fangs. Even though they are the most dangerous, that doesn't mean that they can't be friendly. Their kindness is respected by the other Tribes which makes them very proud. The advantages of this Tribe are speed and agility while the disadvantages include imprudance and being easy to trick.
Tribe of Quaking Earth
The Kyerans in the Tribe of Quaking Earth are very muscular and well built. They have very long claws and some have jaggered sabre teeth. Their pelts are usually a bit more brown-ish. The advantages of the Tribe of Quaking Earth are strength and their massive size which scares off smaller Kyerans. The disadvantages are, that due to their size they can't move around as quickly as the members of the other Tribes.
Tribe of Rushing Winds
The Tribe of Rushing Winds is very silent and careful, they are very fast and flexible which makes it hard to strike on them. They can creep up on you from behind without you noticing a single thing. Their advantages are stealth, speed and flexibility. Their smaller size and fragileness count to their disadvantages.
Tribe of Splitting Thunder
The Tribe of Splitting Thunder is great in the high areas. They're usually found in the mountain areas where they hunt for big birds and mountain animals. Being the best flyers is part of their advantages while their disadvantages are living in the forests.
Syndroms
"Sometimes, Kyerans are born with unnatural Syndroms. Here, I'll introduce to you the currently known Syndroms."
CES - Cold Eyed Syndrom
The Cold Eyed Syndrom gives the Kyeran eyes with a cold color, blue of green for example. This is quite a rare Syndrom.
SFS - Sabre Fang Syndrom
The Sabre Fang Syndrom gives the Kyeran Sabre Fangs, this is the most common Syndrom known at the moment. The SFS has sub categories aswell, depending on the natural habitat of the Kyeran.
JSFS - Jaggered Sabre Fang Syndrom
This Sabre Fang Syndrom mostly occurs to Kyerans living in forests, most of them join the Tribe of Quaking Earth but there have been sightings of them in other Tribes aswell.
LSFS - Long Sabre Fang Syndrom
The Kyeran born with the LSFS has very long Sabre Fangs. The first one discovered is the Kyeran #2. These Kyerans are found in each Tribe.
SSFS - Short Sabre Fang Syndrom
There are Kyerans with only tiny fangs, not even really Sabre Fangs actually, but as they are still fangs they have been put into this category. The SSFS is probably the rarest of all the SFS'.
DPS - Diamond Pupil Syndrom
There are Kyerans with Diamond shapes pupils, they are said to mostly be able to control magic though Kieran himself has normally slitted eyes. This is one of the more common Syndroms.
LCS - Long Claw Syndrom
Another one of those Syndroms with a sub category, most of the Kyerans with the LCS simply have very long claws but there are Kyerans with the JLCS.
JLCS - Jagged Long Claw Syndrom
The Kyerans with this Syndrom usually also have the JSFS, as they're both jaggered. The JLCS never goes with the LSFS or the SSFS though.
LWS - Leather Winged Syndrom
There are currently no known Kyerans with this Syndrom and none have been sighted yet. Maybe someday one will appear but Kieran says that that is very unlikely to happen.

Kieran wrote:So, what do Kyerans look like?
Kyerans are wolf-like creatures with a few additions. We Kyeran have tri-colored feathered wings. One wing is about as big as our body (not including the tail). We have a lion-like mane around our necks that also goes down out spine. We have slitted eyes though some of us have diamond-shapes pupils. Our eyes are usually bright warm colors but can come in cold ones aswell, while our pelts are mostly dark, so that we can hide in the shadows. Rarely there's a Kyerrie that's born and grows up with a white pelt. There are said to be some leather-winged Kyerans but I've never come across one myself. I'd say that's all you need to know about what we look like, you might see some rarer Kyerans sometime if you keep your eyes open though.
Kieran wrote:What do they eat?
Hah, I'm glad you asked! Most people would say we eat human carcasses but that is not so. With our very sharp fangs and fast, flexible bodies we can track down and catch any creature, our meals usually consist out of deer, elk and hare. We sometimes eat big birds like eagles, hawks or falcons if we manage to catch them, they're very dangerous you know!! Anyways, we hunt mostly at night when we take our meal by surprise. Don't worry, we don't eat humans, they taste too plain. So that's what we eat, and believe me, it's very tasty!!
Kieran wrote:Do they live in packs or as loners?
Most of the Kyeran live in packs, also called Tribes. But some of them must live as loners due to a ban from the tribe, a catastrophe that made the whole Tribe die out or just because they wanted to leave. Now that I think about it, about a quarter of Kyerans are loners. You might happen to meet one but be warned, they're not always friendly, while Tribes are always very welcoming towards strangers. Who knows, maybe you'll be the first human accepted in a Tribe? There are six Tribes in total, I'll tell you more about them later.
Kieran wrote:How old do they get?
Kyerans usually reach the ages between 600-1000 years. Of course, in Kyeran years, not human years!! One human year is to us, about 23 Kyeran years, so we do become quite old. But even the oldest of Kyerans look as young as an normal adult.
Kieran wrote:Mating
This here is an interesting subject for you to know about, it's quite important. Kyerans, like most species mate with the opposite gender. During the mating seasons which occur once a month the Kyerans are able to mate. Usually they have up to 3 Kyerries in a litter. What are Kyerries you ask? Why little Kyerans of course!! They're so adorable, you need to see them! While the female Kyerans are pregnant, they stay in the den while their mate goes out hunting and bringing water. The female Kyerans can prepare for the big moment in this way. Kyerries are born with a very dark grey fur, nearly black. Sometimes they're born white but that only very rarely happens.
