"I Just took the gun." He shrugged his shoulders. "Are you sure you're alright?..." He didn't want to be pushy, but he also didn't want to deal with more zombies because of the boy having a melt down.

"Yeah Im fine..." he sighed and stood up, "Im going to check for food, I think I need to eat something." He walked past John and into the kitchen, he opened then fridge and then quickly closed it again, he could smell rotting food. He walked away from the fridge and opened the pantry there was a box full of instant cup of noodles, he grabbed one and closed the pantry. He turned the hot water on and let it get really hot, at least the hot water still works he thought. He filled the cup with water and set it on the counter, then he rumaged through the drawers looking for a fork.

John sighed and left the bathroom and walked to the couch in the small living room. He sat down and leaned his head back. His legs were killing him, and he was absolutely exhausted. Within minutes, he was fast asleep, his knife still in his hand.

After letting the hot water cook the noodles for about 3 minutes James took his soup and sat down at the small table, he quietly ate his soup and left the remnints on the table. He walked over to the closet in search of blankets and pillows, he found a sleeping bag, a sheet, and a rather large fluffy comferter. He grabed all 3 and walked back into the living room, he placed them on the couch and covered John with the sheet, then he grabed the sleeping bag and left the comferter for Fabian. He took the sleeping bag and one of the throw pillows off the couch and went into the bathroom, where he made a bed in the bathtub. He layed there with his arm above his head and softly sang untill he fell asleep.

John opened his eyes slowly and looked around. He was back at his house in his backyard. In confusion, he stood up and walked into the house where he saw his father, face down on the ground, a hole through his head. John swallowed hard and backed up quickly, but when he turned around, he was stopped by his sister. She looked up at him with a blank stare and then she fell forward, limp and lifeless. John quickly caught her in his arms, and he looked down at her, tears in his eyes. Her eyes shifted slightly to look at him, and she whispered. "We died because of you John...You killed us..."
Suddenly, John sat up straight, his heart racing and a stray tear on his cheek. He quickly wiped it away and looked around to see he was still in the apartment. It was all a dream... He thought to himself.

When they woke up they heard the screeming again. It was coming from up on the next floor.

Ally wished she could help Maria in some way; she seemed so torn inside. Whatever had a happened to them...it must have scarred her. When Adam moved out of the room Ally went to the nearest closet to look for extra packs. She found two more and pulled one out. She set it on the table and went to the pantry to get some food that wouldn't spoil and shoved it inside. She turned to Maria who hadn't moved since the cat incident. "The world can be a pretty sick place...it's how you cope with it that makes the difference." That was something her mom had told her when she had her first fight.

The front door opened and Lorena flew in. Gregory closed it as quickly as he could without making a noise and they were in. It was dark inside and a little stuffy, but enough light came in to let then see. There was a faint smell of decay from farther in the house; but here in the front there was nothing but an abandoned furniture set and tv. "We should probably check out the back rooms..." Lorena whispered. She didn't want to risk the things outside hearing them.

I let out a shaky sigh, watching the dead man for a few seconds. Taking a few steps over to him, I remove my bloody knife from where its lodged in his head and walk in to wash it off. With both boys asleep, one in the tub, I rinse my knife off in the sink. Once its clean, I place it back in its brown belts holster and make my way back to the door. Peeking down the hall one more time, I silently shut the door, bolt and chain, and lean a chair under the handle for extra measure. {i]'Congrats, you made it another day...[/i] I applaud myself sarcastically in my head. Taking a few deep breaths, I turn back down the hall and into the kitchen. When I arrive in the small apartment kitchen, contemplating whether or not to eat, I turn away deciding no. I've seen to much for food today, I'll just eat in the morning... Within steps, tiredness weighing me down, I find the comforter the boys left me and spread it out on the floor. Before lying down, I remove my hoodie and push a few fingers through my hair. Snuggling up in the blankets my mind endeavors to wander, but is to soon over come with exhaustion and out I go like a light.

(I just woke up from a nap.^^)

Adam grabbed the first aid kit from the medicine cabinet in the bathroom, he put it inside the pack and headed out the door, he paused for a moment staring at his fathers bedroom door. He slowly walked up to the door and opened it, he saw a picture of him, his mother and father on the nightstand, he picked it up and with trebling hands he took the picture out of its frame and put it in the pack. Adam plopped down onthe bed next to the nightstand and began pilaging through one of the drawers.

Gregory nodded, "Yeah, thats a good idea." He whispered, and headed down the hall towards one of the doors.

James herd a loud scream coming from above him, it jolted him from his sleep. He quickly stood up and grabbed his guitar and fasted it on his back adjusting the strap. He walked out into the living room and looked at the others, "Did you guys hear that?"

Maria sighed staying quiet. She looked down hugging her knees. She bit her lip wondering what are they going to do next. Pausing she looked at the time. "Andrew, whens daddy coming back from work?" She asked.
Andrew was putting food in his pack not forgetting to pack pineapple. He paused when Maria had asked about their father. He looked down wondering how to put it. "Well uh father. He is on a trip for his work. Mother is traveling with him." He said obviously lying, but Maria nodded. "Oh." She said sadly.
