Willow checked on the wound and saw it had turned a purpleish-pink color. "It's infected." she said. She began looking for the herbs that would help get rid of the infection. She started thinking of all the wolves she had failed to heal. She couldn't bare to loose Rako.

Chiyo's stomach had been very badly injured because Apollo had bitten in to it. It was very painful for the poor puppy, so all he could do was helpessly lay there in pain. He looked at the deep wound in his belly and saw something else coming out, that wasn't blood...He could see meat that he had managed to scavange earlier, it looked horrible. The pup shivered and curled up in to a tiny ball, slowly bleeding to death.

Fuji saw Rako and felt worried about him, knowing he had saved her...She wanted to repay him by helping him too, but Willow was already on it. She whined and looked around, not seeing Chiyo in the cave.

Rako slid along, trying to get to Chiyo. He growled and bit down gently on the wrap he had made for Chiyo earlier, adjusting it slightly to make it a gentler fit. "Muu... Help Chiyo." His voice was faint, he was in great pain.

Apollo 'watched' from the trees licking his lips, blind eyes focused on nothing. He used his ears to pin point the injured Rako and dying Chiyo. He landed softly on the ground and snuck over waiting to grab Rako, that pup was going to die, he would see to it. (That would be a sight to see a 205 pound 42 inch tall albino great dane hiding in a bush! 0-0!)

Rako struggled to his feet, determined to face his opponent. He wouldn't back down. This was when he grew up, the world wouldn't let him stay a pup much longer. He growled, standing his ground, his fur bristling with rage.

Yara smiled, tears coming to his eyes. He admired the pup, no matter what, he would stand his ground to help his friend. He had so much courage in his little heart, more than Yara ever had... And he knew it. "Come on Rako." He snarled as he spotted the look in Apollo's eyes, he was so angry. He reared up, his tails lashing out behind him. He wanted to let loose some demon fury on the male but he was...well... a ghost.

Apollo snarled and lunged for Rako's back leg aiming for the wound.

Chiyo looked up to see Apollo trying to bite Rako's leg. He growled and jumped in front of Rako, making Apollo bite the chihuahua's leg instead. He was ready to die for Rako, the one who had shown him that not all big wolves were scary...

Rako screamed as Chiyo took the attack for him, tears streaming from his face. "CHIYO!" He growled and lunged for Apollo's face, not careing for the pain it caused him. His own pain was increasing more and more, but he didn't give a damn. He slashed at Apollo's nose, trying to give him difficulty breathing.

The wrap around Chiyo's body split and fell off as Chiyo fell over...Blood poured out of his horrible wound like it wouldn't stop. He was dying, he knew that. But he had found that spark of courage in his heart to stand up for his 'friend' in his last moments- Something he never thought existed in him. The puppy had been abused his whole life, so he never knew what having friends was like, but now he had found out..."G-Get away..." He whispered, looking up at Rako.

Rako shook his head weakly, falling to one knee, but getting up straight away. He wasn't going to let Apollo see him as weak, he wouldn't allow it. "Nu. Chiyo get out heer. Chiyo leeve. Rako stay, dye if must." He dipped his head, frowning.
