Birch looked up slightly, slighty surprised at his anwer; she assumed herds meant everything to him. "Ummm.. Alright. Cool." she said shyly, smiling slightly. "If we arent going to bother with them for another few days, what are we going to do?" she added in question, curious and confused.

Night Terror smiled "I don't bite" she said quietly, "Not hard at least" she said with a half smile. She walked for a little while, her eyes searching for something. After a silent eternity, she found what she had been looking for.
"Here" she said, her silence broken by the one word. "A kelpie I knew once showed me this place- I didn't understand until I looked up" she said with a distant whisper in her words. She motioned Auroch to look up, in the sky the trees framed a perfect circle of the sky, emphasizing the silvery glimmer of stars and the milky twists of passing wisps of clouds. "Its not much, but sometimes I find it calming" she said, suddenly feeling really awkward for bringing a near stranger to her to this place.

Badger looked at Holly then smiled as he motioned his head towards the water. "Why don't you go out first, I'll be in shortly after." he said, gently nudging her forward some. He didn't take notice that their shoulders were touching until he briefly glanced down to see. He shook his head, tossing his mane over to one side then he let his gaze stare off at the open water they both came to. A few thoughts would travel through his mind as he stood there but he didn't think much of them since he had the company of a mare he's come to know.

She nodded with a smile.
"Okay" she said and started to trott out in the water, she laughed a bit as her fur hit the cool water and she threw her mane around and making water fly up in the air and float a little in the wind before hitting her back and the water again.
She went deeper out untill the water reached over her chest and she turned around to look at Badger who looked to be all into his thoughts.
"Hey, are you coming or not?" she asked with a smile.

Badger shook his head then smiled before slowly making his way to the water's edge. He stopped then look at the mare who was chest deep in water and gave a soft chuckle. He then began to progress into the cool water, swimming out the where she was waiting for him. He tossed his forelock out of his face and gave a gentle smile with a sigh of relief following. "Ah this feels good." he stated before he watched the sun begin to set. "Come on, lets get going since it's starting to get dark." he said, heading back towards te shore. Once out, he shook the water free from his pelt then waited for Holly to join him before heading back.

Birch nodded softly. ''Alright.'' she said, returning the smile. She blew air at her forelock since it yet again covered her vision. Birch wondered what they would do for the next couple of days. She turned to Chase. ''You know, I'm really glad I have someone like you to accompany me in the bayou. I guess you could say I'm thankful for you.'' Birch added very quietly, half unsure of how he would react and partly because she was now admitting she relied on him now, to the point that he could easily destroy her emotionally if he chose to. She gulped and walked over to a patch of sweet-looking grass and nibbled at it, attempting to busy herself so she could play off the recent confession as something that wasn't all that big of a deal, when it was.

Altair scanned him. His golden eyes were odd from the rest of him,but then again they fit in so well. He was rather taken aback by her comment. Normally by now, mare and stallions alike had gotten fed up with his games and turned their backs on him. They'd trot off without another word. Leaving him all alone. No one to talk to. It was his favourite tool to drive annoying kelpies, such as Remus, away.
But this mare had taken up his challenge. She was willing to play on. The stallion looked at her in disbelief. What should he say to her now???

He gave a smile and felt his cheeks go a little warmer when she gave him a hug.
The happiness tickled at his hooves and he smiled a bit wider, finally he had a friend.
He let out a sigh and looked down at the ground, he saw a small sandpath and walked up to it and started to draw in the sand with the tip of his alterns.
When he nodded at FeatherHeart, he wanted to show her a drawing of a wolf standing infront of a small foal with tiny alterns.
It looked scared at the wolf and the wolf barred it's teeth at the drawing.

She followed after him after seeing his signal. Curious, she stopped by his side and looked down at his drawings in the sand. Her eyes narrowed to make everything clearer. She could see a wolf and a... small foal. It took her a few moments before she asked him, "that foal... Is that you, Prince?"
