Does anyone ever roleplay their favorite book(s)?

I do, especially with the Hunger Games. Actually, I just started a semi-literate Hunger Games roleplay.

I was just curious if anyone ever does that with their favorite books or movies... Usually I get addicted to books after I finish them, so creating a roleplay partially satisfies my cravings cx

I love participating on Lord of the Rings themed role plays. I find it really interesting how others portray the different characters. I haven't participated in many other role plays that are based off of books, other than a warriors RP, but I don't like warriors nearly as much as I like LOTR.

Why you love to read: It's nice to escape from the world sometimes and imagaine your self on an adventure! It's fun to try to figure things out, and it's like a movie (but in your head and stuff...)
Why you joined: I need new reading material but don't know what to read. This will give me some good suggestions, and I get to talk about them!

(I would also like to mention that I may not be able to read every book. I'm taking a couple of honors classes taking up some of my time, and don't always get to the library! I'll do my best though ^^ )

Favourite Author: The same two that wrote my favorite two books, Scott Orsen Card and Jonathan Stroud.
Why you love to read: Books are these strange, alternate words that produce hours of thought, amusement, and enough daydreams for year each. So when you have a few bookcases full, there's enough to fill a lifetime.
Why you joined: Sadly, my general area is filled with teenagers idolizing Twilight and the usual 'teenagers in fantasy romance' genre, so the people I can talk to about books with actual content are limited. Hence, I turn towards the internet.
