*Story/backstory: Ashes lived in the cave with her smaller brother Greed. When it came time for Ashes to get her Crystals she went through and came out the other end of the water fall with red swirling crystals all around her. She whinnied in delight but was suddenly full of fear. Greed had jumped in after her. Ashes didn't know what would happen to her younger brother. She watched him as he walked to her getting slower and slower. She tilted her head as her brother's essence began to fade. He didn't get his crystals. He was too young. He was dissipating into matter. He looked at himself and screeched horribly. Ashes jumped to save her brother but Greed was gone. He had disappeared. To where? Ashes doesn't know but she hopes to see him again someday.
Because Ashes watched her brother die in front of her she is hardened to the core. She is a tough mare and will not go down without a fight.
