Charlie crouched down low as he heard human's voices. He sniffed the air and sure enough, the fresh meat scent was close. The humans went inside and Charlie padded over to investgate. There were black bin bags lining the wall of a building and as he sniffed around them, Charlie realised the meat was in them. Using his claws, the german shepherd made a tear in the bag and meat poured out. "I must be in paradise!" Charlie barked happily as he began to eat.

Okay. Cracker and Rocky met and told each other their stries. Then Killer and Rookie came and shared their hot dogs. Flame came (haha) and brought some more, then he left. Cracker, Rookie, Rocky, and Killer are all talking now.

[Okay.... ]
Nasim shrugged, getting lonely. He shook his fur out and stared up at the sky. A rabbit crossed his path and he shot out after it. Of Course, it managed to escape. He smiled and was remembered of his hunger when his belly started rumbling. He looked around and, finding nothing, ran under a bench adn tried to get to sleep, hoping that would take away his hunger.

Anila woke up to a human's shouts. She bolted upright and stared at the person. She bowed her head and left, running away into a near-by park. She stopped suddenly, staring at the many scents. She hadn't known there were so many strays in one town. She spotted a german shepherd and dashed over, happy to find someone. She stayed low to the ground. "Um...Hello...." She said the other stray. Cracker snapped her head up and jerked her ears foward. A dog was slowly approaching. 'Seems I'm quite popular today,' she thought to herself. "Hi!" she called, motioning for the stray to join them.

((Sorry I've been gone so long. Life has been hectic!!!))

'Hi there sweety' sounded a friendly voice as Jasmine whipped around to see a Collie mix before her. She was saved! Surely this Collie could help set her free, and if not keep her company for the time being. "Oh, h-hello... I'm Jasmine..." the golden pit bull mix introduced herself; her tail wagging gently at a friendly face. Relief had spread throughout her body like a refreshing wave, and she was glad to have run into a seemingly harmless dog. "M-my collar is caught on his hook..." she explained, pulling away from the wall gently so that her collar pulled at the far side of her neck; and the hook was revealed hooked on her collar. "I need to get out quick. B-before Jordan leaves. I seem to have lost her..." she added, looking up miserably through widened, frightened eyes as the thought of not finding Jordan occurred to her once again.

((not much I can say without ya. lol. sorry it's so short. hope there's enough for you to reply!))

Rookie was taken back mentally for a moment as Rocky lashed out verbally at the dog that had recently run into him. As soon as it had surprised him, his surprise faded. It made sense for the rottweiler to be angry; no dog could show sign of weakness out here or it would be a sure invitation to disaster. Rookie was relieved to see the dog leave, one less face to have to cope with. He had no problem making friends and such, but all the dogs circled around the ally were becoming a bit much for him. Just to add to his whirling mind, another few dogs appeared and joined their discussions.

Rookie heaved himself to his paws, and took a deep breath before looking in a circle at all of the dogs in the narrow and becoming cramped ally. There were too many faces for him to cope with, and he was feeling his welcome was being cut short. "Well, it's been great to meet you all. Hope to see you all again sometime soon, but everything is becoming just a bit to hectic here for me..." he explained, shaking his head and taking another step back. He bid them all a farewell before glancing at his friend, Killer, and taking off down the alley; the sounds of his friends paws not far behind.

~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~

Killer was ripped from his daydream as a voice sounded beside him. It was a dog, one whom he did not recognize from before. He assumed she was new to the group, and he must have missed her arrival due to his fascination with the hot dog he had licked up. "Oh..." he stuttered, looking down at the half a hot dog that had appeared at his feet. He looked up, confusion covering over him like a blanket. He then noticed Cracker had not taken her half, and instead had given it to him. He felt himself grow hot with embarrassment that he had been so obviously stubborn at giving up half of the meal. "My friend, Rookie, got it. He's really good with people I guess..." he mumbled, pointing out the large golden that had suddenly stood. He listened, but still looked down at his hot dog in embarrassment, as Rookie excused himself from the group. He could feel the golden's gaze graze Killer's fur, and suspected he was expected to follow.

Killer stood, preparing to follow his friend; but nabbed the hot dog in his jaws, padding over to the large German shepherd. He lay the hot dog down at Cracker's paws, and looked into her eyes for a moment before bowing his head, and taking off down the alley. "But, that wasn’t my half..." he barked as he passed the dog he had just been talking to. His paws pounded hard against the pavement as he glanced back at the pile of dogs he had been among a moment ago; resting his gaze on Cracker. He smiled, hoping the small meal would fill her stomach; a feeling he couldn’t explain begging him to turn around and stay with the shepherd.

Dakota took a step back as the shepherd crawled out from under the bench, unable to resist a smile that crept to his lips. "I'm with you there," he agreed, taking a seat in the soft, swaying grass. He laid his head on his paws, still tired from waking a half hour or so before, before yawning in exhaustion. He hadn't realized how tired he really was; until now of course. Dakota let out a sigh, his side's heaving as they filled with air, and slowly shrunk as air escaped them. He looked up at the dog, forcing himself to hold back another yawn before talking once again. "So, what’s your story?" he asked, always being interested in how other dogs just like himself ended up on the cold, hard streets.

((Grr, writers block here I guess... not much I can say without ya. lol.))
