"As soon as you're better, you're leaving." Missy said in a firm voice, turning on her heel and leaving.

"You never taught me that." Eliza said with a small frown. "You didn't teach me anything. I learned from watching, careful observations. Once Missy and Samuel came around, I was forgotten. Sit, Eliza! Stay, Eliza! Everyone wanted time with you. I was denied a father, then I was denied a father again."

Zane sniffed. "...What have I done to constitute being rude? I'm injured, yes, so obviously I'm going to be a bit testy..." He snapped.

"You've also called us freaks." Missy pointed out. "Forgive me if I am supposed to take that as a gracious title." She moved and sat down beside him on the hotel bed, taking the bowl of soup from his hands and taking the spoon. "Ill get pain medication as soon as I am able. Let me do this, you're obviously in pain."

Zane sighed. "Fine. I meant freaks as in your motives...you guys are honestly the sanest and kindest people I've met yet if that means anything." He murmured and waved his hand slightly. "And, do what ever you like.."

Missy smiled then, gently, closed lipped. She fed him quietly, until the bowl was empty. When there wasn't a drop left, she stood. "You can stay, if you want." She told him, gathering up a few things.

Zane nodded. "Well, my plan of tricking people into getting stuff for me isn't working out to well...Os I think I'll take up on that offer....Upon one condition." He murmured.

"What condition is that?" Missy asked, shaken inside. She had heard of stories from Eliza that men these days would do anything to get what they want. Usually, Missy figured it was a lie, but part of her knew it rang true. "What condition might that be?" She repeated.

Zane smiled. "If you make sure that girl doesn't kill me in the middle of the night." He murmured.

"Eliza?" Missy smiled back and shook her head. "She's not that cold. She's just adjusting... You see, our father died several hears ago, and she took it... I thought she took it pretty well, but she was..." Missy struggled to find the right words. "She was lost without him. I think she still is. She only recently started mourning his death. She's... Adjusting."
