Despite not being the biggest, or the strongest, this stag won't be mistaken for anything but royalty. Just the way he carries himself- tall and proud, despite not being the best, can strike awe into anyone. It is obvious he thinks one day he might become the best.

Generous

Unlike some royalty who could care less about people below them, Xavier is a kind soul who would happily split his dinner with two or three others if they may be less better off than himself. He would do so for any rune or other elkrin, or perhaps offer a ride to a lost human if he happened upon one.

Gentle

Not surprisingly, Xavier fits the bill of the phrase 'wouldn't hurt a fly' perfectly. Any little creature fascinates him, and he wouldn't imagine harming it, unless it was harming his rider or someone/something else. For this reason he's great with children, and they too, seem to love such a playful and nonthreatening elkrin.

Observant

Xavier isn't exactly the loudest, preferring to watch and just observe. He catches things others don't in this way, small little details that can prove to be important.

Powerful

This does not apply to a physical strength- in contrary, he isn't all that strong in body. No, it applies to his ability to be a rock in time of turmoil, seemingly unswayed in a time that might bring others to tears. He has great mental strength, although not everyone views that as such a great things when he decides he wants to be stubborn.

I tried a little something different with this one. I wrote a short poem for each trait, treating each stanza as a sentence, so there is a maximum of three stanzas in each. I hope that this is acceptable.

Balthazar
I immediately thought of Balthasar, the loyal messenger to Romeo in Romeo and Juliet, when I first saw this stag. However, I personally thought that the name looked and sounded better with a "z" instead of a "s", so I made that minor change. Plus he just looked like the letter B in my opinion.

Personality:

Ambivert
One could not classify Balthazar as a complete extrovert or introvert, as he has traits of both social classifications. He has the leadership and assertive skills of an extrovert, but also feels the need to be have his lone and quiet time away from others, like an introvert is often associated with. Speaking in front of crowds comes to ease for him, just like an extrovert, but needs days, maybe even weeks to be able to prepare for speaking, much like an introvert would.
Pathologically Intense
Balthazar isn't serious, he isn't stoic, and he isn't strict; he's just pathologically intense. He's a stag that, once he has an idea, an idea that he can surely work out somehow, he'll get to work on it and make it happen. However, he can sometimes come off as cold or aloof when he gets into one of his "this is an amazing idea, I need to get it done" modes, as he often times forgets about the needs of others and is more concerned about getting whatever needs to be be done, done as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Traditional
Picking up on new concepts and ideas isn't one of the easiest things for Balthazar. Being born and raised in a traditional family, Balthazar sticks strictly to the traditional lifestyle of a Crowned Cavalier Elkrin stag--be born, work for the royal bloodlines, produce the next generation of Cavaliers, retire, and die off a noble creature. That is the only lifestyle that Balthazar has seen, has learned about, and knows about--and he plans on keeping it that way until his last breath.
Vain
Primarily due to his teachings and his upbringing as a fawn, Balthazar has been brought up with this crazy idea in his mind that he is the most important creature in the world, and that there is no other beast to stand in his way. Okay, it really isn't that bad, but his vanity clearly sees through with the way that he glowers as the "lowly" Elkrin (the other Elkrin who aren't of Cavalier Elkrin bloodline or raised in royalty). He can't stand the idea of being around other Elkrin, unless they were brought up in royalty or another Cavalier Elkrin like himself.
Short-sighted
Balthazar doesn't think his plans out, no matter what counseling he receives from others. Due to this problem, he can find himself in quite the deep hole from not planning out his course of action, often times injured or in massive trouble with group with strong ties to politics or other royalty. His short-sightedness is purportedly one of the primary reasons that the royals have decided to give him away to one lucky, or possibly unlucky, Elkrin rider.
Sweet Tooth
Balthazar has a liking, more like an obsession, for anything that is sweet or sugary. Cooks, small children, and random strangers have a tendency to see Balthazar and give him something sweet, usually sugars cubes, baked sweets, or something that's coated with honey (one of his favourite treats). Of course, he hates how people realize that he has a soft spot for sugary and sweet treats, and hopes that his new rider doesn't realize his only weakness.
