Nizhoni walked over and nuzzled her father as he watched for danger. She went out of the shelter of the rocky overhang into the rain. She wandered, not far from the shelter, nibbling on the grass. Her brown markings darker due to the rain almost made her look like chocolate covered vanilla ice cream. But unbeknownst to her an her parents, they were being watched by a pair of golden yellow eyes that belonged to a rouge cougar, hungry for its next meal.

I was sick of always being the underdog and this time I would gladly fight Caelan if that became needed. Not to show off, but just to let Caelan know he dosen't own me, and he isn't the alpha.

Caelan laughed, Kunjos annoyed attitude seemed to have that affect on him. "Me? Crush? The mighty Caelan, handsome, clever, funny, brave and mischievous, course bro, crushes are for you. Not me." He flicked an ear, [b]"all she did was give you a bit of mouth and you dont like her? I dont understand how you think she thinks she owns the place too. Its a forest no one owns it." The younger colt wasn't scared by Kunjo, he had delt with it before now it just made him laugh.

My only respond was to narrow my eyes at him, what was it that was so ''special'' with this filly? The Caelan I know would have charmed her then tricked her, or pranked her just when he saw her. But now? Caelan had changed in just a few seconds just because of one lost filly?!
This all annoyed me greatly, and I wanted to snap back at him. But what was the point? He would just defend her.But I had to say something to show he haden't won.

She didn't want to get involved in their quarrel so she stayed to the side quietly observing and listening to their argument. It was a bit awkward since it had been started by here joining them, and well her remarks and such. She should really think before she speaks she thought, it was a habit and not an easy one to break. Snapping out of her mind's thoughts she listened to the colts arguing again when Kuñjo said her name. Should she step in and try to stop them she thought. She could always leave, she didn't want to but it was an option. The colts had caught her eye and attention with mischief, she didn't want to loose her possible new friends but she didn't want to listen to them bicker either.

Caelan narrowed his eyes, it wasn't about pranking straight away. Some took time and effort, he had one in his mind just hatching now he needed to develop it. The colt shot Kunjo a look, hoping he would know what he was doing just from his face. "Bro, it offends me you'd say im like everyone else. You obviously dont know me at all," he had a quirky grin on his face, still trying hard to keep his anger beneath the surface. He didn't want their new friend knowing how he could be just yet.

My anger was swoly drifting away, I knew it was bad for me to let off steam by starting an argument on Caelan. But right now, I couldn't care less, he did this all the time on me. So why couldn't I do the same from time to time?

"My dashing good looks, obviously," Caelan replied with a straight face and a wink. He turned around and continued cantering forwards, not letting Kunjos argument stop him. "Im not forcing you to come you know Kunjo," he wondered if it was the first time he had ever not called Kunjo bro, "If you hate me that much dont bother coming." He flicked an ear, turning his head to look the older colt in the eyes.

''Pft, high thoughts, you can't go one day without mentioning how high thoughts you have about yourself'' I had a slight spark in my eye, but it vanished quickly and I raised an eyebrow at him and asked back ''So your basically asking me in a kind way to get lost just because I offended your new girlfriend?''
So much for trying to leave the argument and focusing on something else, but then again I could understand it. And why was Azuri so quiet all of a sudden? She had a mouth, and she wasen't afraid of using it, so why had she suddenly gone mute? I gave her a slight suspicious face before cantering on.

Caelan tried hard, very hard to keep his anger under the surface. Sometimes pulling a face with the strain of it, "Dont ask such obvious questions then." His tail flicked, he was slowly beginning to cool "Just because I was flirting doesn't make her my girlfriend, I'd never ask you to get lost I just find it weird how your so quick to judge her." He had stopped making jokes and was being serious for once, no grinning or winking just his normal straight face.
