Thorntail padded up to Russetleap, seeing fear in her eyes as he looked to the spot where three appprentices were supposed to be. "What's wrong?" he asked, licking her ears lovingly and to soothe her.

Russetleap tried desperately to rid of her horrified expression, and with a flick of her tail, motioned that they would talk about it later. She listened intently to the Apprentice ceremony, wondering whether Darkstar would mention those missing, but didn't. Her eyes grew wide with surprise as Thorntail's name was called, and it took her a while to snap out of her own thoughts, to realize what it was for. "Well done!!" She purred lovingly as he padded away to greet his new apprentice. "Sprucepaw! Pricklepaw! Larkkit!" She called.

Adderfang purrs, flicking his tail as he pads to the camp antrance.

Sprucepaw squeals, but stays by his mentor's side.

Larkpaw purred, touching noses with Jayflights.

Jayflight bent down and touched noses with Larkpaw, then backed into the crowd. She called the apprentices names when everyone else did, still shocked she had gotten an apprentice.

Thorntail licked Sprucepaw's ear to comfort him. "It's okay, you are fine. Hey, how would you like to explore the territory tomorrow?" he asked, smiling at his new apprentice.

Larkpaw sat down next to her mentor. "What we doin' tomorrow?" She asked.

Russetleap weaved her body around the other cats, and stopped to stand by Thorntail, letting a small purr slip as her pelt brushed his. She listened to what he said to his new apprentice, and then also smiled down on him. "And once you believe you are ready, you are welcome to train with Twilightpaw." She mewed, purring again.

Sprucepaw looks confused, "You shouldn't really be training... your expecting kits." He reminds her, flicking his tail.

Adderfang looks at his apprentice, "We'll explore the territory, then come back to camp and rest; the territory is big for an apprentice." He purrs.

Russetleap shrugged. She knew that, but until she could find a replacement, she was still Twilightpaw's mentor. "You don't need me to fight another apprentice." She mused, though knew that that wasn't what he meant at all. "Twilightpaw can't train himself," She then gave Thorntail a side long glance before returning her gaze back to Sprucepaw, "Plus, I still need to find him a replacement mentor whilst I'm in the nursery."

River headed to the nursery "Firekit? Goldenkit? Whitekit? Greykit? Tigerkit?' She meowed, looking around. She sighed, then looked over to Rainpelt. "Thank you, we must be heading off now."
