~Lost souls~ (Zombie Apocalypse) *Not Accepting*

[Snowy~Days]

Casidy reached for her board and noticed something black under one of the bushes. "Dont move," She said not taking her eyes off of what ever it was. It wasnt very large so it was easily looked over when she scanned the yard for infected, it was.... a black lab puppy. She was hesitent to reach for it it, wasnt moving, it just layed there motionless, she couldnt tell if it was dead or just sleeping.

"He's adorable! Is he still alive?" Roan asked, raising an eyebrow and reaching out to pet the dog. He was pretty small, and it didn't look like he was too healthy, but they couldn't just leave him, could they?! She waited patiently for Casidy's answer.
Roan had a dog, a few years ago, a shepherd mix named Rune. They'd had to put him down because of a rare type of kidney disease. So now, seeing this little puppy, she wanted to save him more than ever.

"Maybe a hundred plus...I didn't really stop to count..." Ally resisted the urge to go peek through the curtains. "And no...I'm not hurt. They haven't gotten me yet." Although that was what she said she couldn't help herself but think about what would happen when they did get her...they couldn't hide here forever.

Casidy picked her board up and smacked the ground in front of the puppy trying to gain its attention, the little black puppy jumped at the sound, it wipped its head around an galloped at casidy making whimpering sounds. "Crap," Casidy got on her knees and petted the pup, it was a little imaciated but at least it was alive. She looked up at Roan, "Im guessing your not going to let us leave him." Casidy was the surviver type, though she felt sorry for the pup she knew he would only slow them down.


Adam sighed and looked down at the tile,"Its worse than I thought," he got a ideaand quickly ran upstairs and gathered up four of his old backpacks and returned down stairs. "We should fill these with some supplies so that just incase we need to leave quickly we arent leaving empty handed." He tossed one to Andrew and one to Ally, he looked back at Andrew holding the pack fo Maria in his hand, "Do you want to pack Maria's?"

"Heck no! I'll carry him, but come on. We can't leave him to die! If you do, he'll end up getting bitten and then he'll seek revenge on you! I can imagine he'll be at least a bit quicker than the other infected, too, given that he's a dog!" Roan crossed her arms, her mouth set into a stubborn line. If there was one thing Roan was, it was stubborn. And since this dog reminded her of Rune, with his black fur and small stature, she was even more determined to do something for the pup.

Casidy sighed and stood up, "Fine you can carry him then, but if he gets bitten," She put her hand on her machette andlooked at the little pup, "Well, you know.." Casidy grabbed her skate board and headed towards the next fence leading into the next yard, "By the way, you still havent told me your name."

"I know... If he gets bitten he's done for either way, so we have to put him out of his misery." Roan sighed. "And oh, I guess I haven't! Sorry. I'm Roan, Roan Hollands." She stuck out one hand to shake, the other quickly scooping up the little puppy. "What should we name him? We can't just call him dog..." She trailed off, thinking of a good name for their new companion.

Casidy shook her hand, "Great, now I have something to call you." she looked over the fence and saw a small boy, his back was turned to her and his head was hung low, he just stood there barely moving, she turned away from the fence, "Great one problem after the other." Casidy looked at Roan, "Stay here, ok, Ill be right back." She tossed her board over the fence and pulled herself over.

Andrew stood quietly wondering if other places where infected as well. What if they all traveled to the woods, where no one lives, would the be safe? He took the bag with a nod and Maria came running out of the room the can empty. She glanced at the new girl and stood behind Andrew shyly holding the can in her hand.

Adam turned to Maria,"Hey, this is..." He guestered at Ally with one hand, and waited for her reply.
