She picked up the mouse and ate the whole thing. She then looked up at him satisfied now. She huffed softly and laid her head between her paws

Ember smiled and walked to her pup nudging him gently, "Pound. I was caught on the street and they took me to the pound. Lucky me I found the opportunity to escape." She told him and then looked at the.young female raising an eyebrow. "What were you two doing out here?" She asked him. Not liking the fact he wandered off and played with an outsider. He could easily get hurt that way.

CJ looks up at his mother. "T-this is my friend Louis. She's the only pup that will play with me! Daddy said we could only stay with Aunt Ry-Ry and that's no fun! CJ crouched low to the ground. "See you later Louis." He whispers and runs off with his tail tucked under him. He started running towards the playground and rejoined his litter. He laid down beside Koda and nuzzled his cheek. "Hey bro."

louis took a few awkward steps back, debating on whether she should stay, bolt away, or quietly walk away unnoticed. she kept backing away, not knowing how else to respond. when cj said goodbye, she simply nodded and slumped down to the ground. she earlier had lied about the warehouse. she didn't want him to worry. she usually stayed wherever she wanted, and where she wanted today, was the woods. she laid her head on her paws and closed her eyes, trying to doze off.

sami reaches indigo and lays besides her, burying her face in her paws. all the stress was building up inside of her, and she just couldn't take it anymore. she started to quietly sob, choking every now and then. she lifted her head and sniffled, picking up kilo and kai and putting them to nurse. she felt her stomach growl and whined, lowering her head once more.

indigo's head snapped up at the stomach growl and licked sami's head reassuringly, bounding off into the woods in search of food for the mother.

sami whined once more, flattening her ears.

Koda turned his head towards his brother and smiled, "Hello CJ" he said happily and began to wag his tail. "What were you out there doing?" He asked his brother. He sat up a bit and had his head in the direction of the steps. He huffed a little, he waited for his brother's answer before saying anything else.

Kilo finished nursing and rested his body on his mother's front paw. He rubbed against her and laid there helplessly. He wondered what was wrong with mommy and why she was so sad. He closed his eyes and cuddle up to her.
