I opened my eyes, blinking sleep away and looked outside the den. I gasped and ran outside. I slept in! Now I have to wait until night to go get some cat-mint! I can't get it during the daylight! I growled in anger and padded back into my den. "I wish twolegs were nocturnal!" I hissed at myself before walking over to the cracks in the walls where I stored my herbs. I sniffed one and nodded. "Juniper, horsetail, burdock, comfr-" I tilted my head. "Stale? Why is the scent of comfrey stale?" I hissed. "I have not used any! Why would it be gone!" I growled. Why would someone steal medicine cat supplies! I circled my bed of moss in frustration. "Do you know how hard it is to find comfrey?!" I roared unsheathing my claws. I ripped at my nest to calm myself down and let the fur on along my spine lie flat. I fixed my nest and sniffed at some more cracks. "Yarrow, fever-few, borage, marigold." I smiled as the rest of my herbs were not missing. I just had to find comfrey. Spend my precious time by the river digging for roots. Then I have to wait until it gets darker and sneak into the twoleg garden to get some cat-mint without getting caught by a twoleg or a kittypet.
