Weekends are usually all day, unless otherwise stated . If I'm off on a trip, I will spend about 3 hours on that weekend, per day .

I especially love the beginners and editable oekaki, because I like seeing everyone who doesn't get as much recognition, get at least a little of it . And the editables are always amazing, and it's so sweet of everyone to share their art with the CS community .
Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS?: I would love to be able to have an excuse to spend all my time in the oekaki . I usually feel like I'm not giving any other thread I've posted in much attention, but I really enjoy looking at all the artwork, and I would love to be able to help keep it clean for everyone to enjoy as much as I do . c:
Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position: Well, I have experience using the oekaki (Although lately I haven't been using it because my tablet was acting wonky), I have really good organization skills . I also have volunteered at my mother kindergarten classroom for weeks on end, so I have pretty good patience when it comes to explaining things and such . c:

Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there? Yes, I browse the Oekaki board frequently.

Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS? My number one reason would be to help people out if they ever need any, and to drop some quick tips and tidbits of information along the way. (and to be able to actually have a good excuse as to why lurk so much on the oekaki boards, haha ^^;) I have a strong passion for art, and sharing that with others, and others sharing that with me would be absolutely wonderful. <3

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position? I'm quite patient, and can keep cool and collected when things get out of hand. I'm also very good at working out kinks in a bad situation, and don't get hot headed. I am literally incapable of getting angry ((Mental condition which prevents emotions <3)) and I'm very good at calming people down. I am not uncomfortable with any disturbing images of any kind, and I refrain from using any kind of harsh language whatsoever. I'm also fluent in more than one language (A 'lil rusty due to not keeping up, but it's still helpful) I'm not particularly strict by any means, but I will be I have to.
I was immature in previous years of being on this site, but took a hiatus, and have grown since then, ad learned to keep a much more open mind about things. I also know quite a bit about Oekaki, and enjoy using it thoroughly.

I registered as a Chicken Smoothie member on Septemer the 1st, 2012.
Sorry if I haven't been on CS for long enough but it will be 6 months this Friday.

I have made 748 posts in the forums.


3. How many days a week do you usually visit CS?
I spend mostly everyday on CS. (I am from Australia, so I come
on when the Americans and British are asleep)

As I am at school, I try to get on for about 2-3 hours a night, after school. However,
on weekends I usually visit for around 4-5 if I'm not too busy. (I usually have a lot of free time)

I have not ever moderated on any other forums before.


6. Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw?
Yes, I have made a couple Oekaki drawings and posted them in the
'beginners Oekaki' section. I try to post a new drawing every now and then.
My drawings aren't the best, but I'm certainly improving with the computer mouse.


7. Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there?
Yep, definitely! As art is one of my passions and interests, (in real life) I love to see what sorts of
drawings others have posted, as I certainly learn a great deal and gain some inspiration from them.


8. Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS?
I want to be an Oekaki moderator because the position and like a lot of fun, along
with some great responsibility. I believe I am able to help people out with the Oekaki
boards, and deal with any rule-breakers and conflicts. I am generally a friendly person and
easily approachable person, along with having maturity and not taking things personally. I decided
to apply for this position because I though it would be a great opportunity
for a brand new experience which I'm sure I'd be sutible for.


9. Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position?
As I said before, I am a mature and responsible person along with having confidence
in myself. I'm not an expect with the Oekaki program, however I definitely know the basics
along with all the rules when posting on the Oekaki board. I can keep confidental information that
I'm not allowed to share with anyone confidental. I can handle situations professionally
without taking sides when it comes to disputes between members and I am also naturally, a very
organised person.

do you mean the format of the application post?

We're not interested in your ability to make a form look nice, we just want to know why you'd be a good choice for the job. We don't care about fancy fontmeme images, colors, and other font edits, in fact we prefer that your post is not overly formatted as stuff like that can be difficult to read. Just keep it clear and concise.

I usually go online CS 7 days a week, but during the exam times (twice a year) I only go online CS for about three or four days a week.

On normal days, I usually go online from a minimum of 3 hours to a maximum of 14 hours a day. 14 hours a day is only during the mid-year (June to July) and end-year (November to January) holidays though. 3 hours is on the days during the exam period, but on average, I get on CS for about 30 hours a week.

I've not moderated on any other website's forum, but I have moderated on some art, adopt, and role-play threads here on CS.

Yes I have. A couple of editables, a few pieces of art in the Beginners' Oekaki board, and a whole lot of adoptables.

Out of the hours I spend on CS, I usually spend about 1 or 2 hours a day to look at all the splendid art that the other users do on CS. So yes, I do.

I would like to be helpful to the CS community in some way, and I'd love to be able to help others solve their problems concerning art with the skills and abilities of a moderator, rather than just being able to offer simple advice without really being able to do anything.

I have been trained in the skills of peer mediation in school, and although I'm not really a great Oekaki user, I know the basics of using the tools, and am able to give advice to others on how to use them.

Everyday when I am able, which is more often than not.

It is spread out over many "sessions", but around 2-3 hours on weekdays (real life gets in the way) and around 5-6 hours weekend days.

I have, but they do no exist any longer. One closed because the owner ran out of money to fund it, and two others closed because of personal reasons of the owners. The links do not exist any longer.

Of course! It is one of my favorite drawing programs. Except recently, my computer decided to crash whenever I use any online art program thing, but I'll fix that soon, I hope!

ALL the time. I love the amount of quality artwork that is posted daily on CS.

8. Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS?

Well, actually, I have a few reasons...
As I said before, oekaki is one of my favorite art programs, and I wold love to have a job that would be be partially about looking at gorgeous art
Also, I have been on this website for quite a while now, and I really want to contribute to the website as a member of the staff.
The colored name would be awesome. just kidding! I am not looking for personalized pets or fame or whatever. I'm not that kind of person.
I'm always very nice and level-headed when dealing with problems, and my friends call me the PeaceMaker because I always have to settle their arguments. Do it would be really great to have an official job that deals with this kind of stuff.
And, well, I love Chicken Smoothie!

9. Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position

Well, I have moderated before so do have the appropriate experience when dealing with rule-breakers.
Also, whenever people post art in the wrong category, such as colored in drawings in the editable board, it really annoys me, so it would be nice to finally be able to do something about it quickly and efficiently.
I don't tolerate art theft. Some people before have tried to steal my traditional art, and I found it extremely rude, so I have experience in dealing with those matters.
And we'll, I'm generally a friendly person.
And my name is easy to remember. (Not really important. Actually not important at all. Just putting it out there.)

I always visit except when I'm at a friends house or traveling as Telstra doesn't like Internet connection during travelling

Well I guess it depends on everything going on; currently I spend around 5 hours but on the weekend it's practically ALL day and ALL night. I even wake up at 5 in the morning to get my daily morning dose of hour-le-chickensmoothie

I used to make role-play sites that were semi-successful but I lost the links,I am so SORRY!

No,My brother is learning at TAFE and almost off to college so there's never enough PC time to draw and plus I am a little drawing-apprentice of my bestie but I love to colour things,I'm a colouring-nazi!

Yes, Not too often on weekdays as need to post on my rps,pm Calico back and just catch up with everything here on CS

Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS?
I'm OBSESSED with art; It's my favourite subject even though my school ran out of spots in that subject. I love looking at digital art and it inspires me to draw and I get a lot better. I would love to be a moderator as it would help my problem-solving skills and I love getting to know people;I like being a peace keeper as it might serve as a important skill when I leave school. I'm forever learning and know what some other users are dealing with. I'm an experienced user,even though I have just reached a year, and would be delighted to be a part of the team ❤

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position:I am unbiased and used to do an extra-curricular lesson on debating; So I know what to predict and if I got the part I would voluntarily take the responsibility of learning more about debating and peace-keeping. I don't have the best skills on oekaki but I certainly find time to learn.Lose lips sink ships and you have to practise what you preach and my lips are air-tight and I am known to never tell my friends secrets. I am a very organised person(If only you could see my school books) and very mature and can calm the angriest of people

8.Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS? I love CS, it's like... my home while I'm at home. It's me. I love to draw, and CS has really helped me improve my skills, if you go way back to my first page of my gallery, its cute, but horrible. I'm really proud of what my art is today and I am still improving, I thank CS and Tess for helping me become that and I want to give something back. I want to help.
9.Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position? I know my way around the oekaki program well. I know how to use photoshop, so I can be approached with some matters regarding that. I was raised by my parents to value respect and understand it, so I will always be respectful and determined to do my job.
