Roan nodded, blinking back tears. "N-nice to meet you Casidy. Um... Do you mind if I stay with you? I don't really want to be alone..." She whispered. Normally, Roan Marie Hollands would never, ever cry in front of a stranger, but this situation was far from normal. Her mother was as good as dead, her father was across the country on business, and she was in a yard surrounded by the Infected citizens of her hometown. Nope, nothing here was the least bit normal.

Andrew sighed. "The creatures got into our house." He sighed looking at Maria stayed quiet. "She'll be fine. Just panicking." He said knowing it was getting to her for they had ran out of her medication.

Casidy looked at Roan, "Sure," She turned back towards the fence, "There arent any infected over here, if we can hope the back fences, we can cut through the back yards and get to the shcool. Then we should be fine for a while." She tossed her board over the fence and pulled herself up and paused, "You comming?"


Adam put his hand out, "Come on Maria, do you want to see something cool." He figuerd showing the girl his fathers fishtank in his study should keep her mind off what was happening for a short while.

Maria sniffled softly taking his hand as she stood up and fallowed him. She saw the fishes and smiled going over to them and sat in a chair watching them swim around.
Andrew smiled sitting on the couch burring his face in his hands with a sigh.

"Im gonna go talk to Andrew for a bit ok." He walked over to andrew and sat next to him on the couch, "Wheres your parents?" he asked in a low voice so Maria couldnt hear him.
