Hawk looked down at his sister. "I think she needs to rest now but I wouldn't mind a tour." He said.

Sky simply nodded. She was indeed very tired.

"Alright then." said Sunpaw, smiling at Hawk and standing up to lead the way around camp. "Come on." she slipped out of the medicine den.

Hawk nodded and got up. He then followed Sunpaw out of the medicine cats den.

"You already know the medicine cat's den, and that's the warrior's den. The deputy, Blackhaze, who's second in command, also sleeps there, in the middle with the senior warriors. That's the leader's den where Brokenstar sleeps. Over there is the elder's den, where cats who are too old to take care of themselves live and we take care of them. That's an apprentice chore, but they have tons of great stories. Over there is the fresh-kill pile, where we leave the results of hunting patrols for other cats. We also do border patrols, but we'll get to that stuff later. Oh, and I almost forgot the apprentice's den, where me, Rainpaw, Flintpaw, and you two will live until we become warriors. Foxpaw used to sleep here until he became medicing cat apprentice. Any questions?" Sunpaw looked at Hawk after finishing her long-winded speech about the basics of living in camp.

Hawk listened carefully to what Sunpaw had to say. Once she was done with her speech Hawk tried to remember it all. "So how do you become a warrior?" Hawk asked. He was actually becoming a bit interested in the clan.

"Well, some warrior, usually our mentor (That's the warrior assigned to train us), recommends us to Brokenstar for the ceremony (which includes an all-night vigil) if they think we possess the fighting and hunting skills to be able to support ourselves and some of the rest of the clan, and to hold our own in battle against other warriors. We also have to know and follow the warrior code." meowed Sunpaw. "But sometimes an apprentice is held back because they don't understand the code or something." She shook her head."It's rare."

Hawk nodded. He didn't know what the warrior code was but didn't bother asking. If it was so important.t he was sure he would hear it soon. "I get it now." Hawk said.

Sunpaw said "Brokenstar will probably give you and your sister mentors soon. Oh, and I think it would be good if you stayed in camp for now, at least not without a warrior, because Brokenstar has difficulty trusting loners that join the clan at first. It'll pass." She confidently waved her tail in farewell, and looked around for Flintpaw.
