Chako waited for the dogs to back down and run away. If they didn't, she'd kill them all using the battouga. She didn't like seeing pups hurt. She would now promise herself to take care of any pup in need, even at the cost of her own life. She never wanted to see anything like how Chiyo was treated, or how Teru and Fuji had mourned their parents.

Chako lifted Chiyo out of the water, threw him over her back, and ran to the Shadow pack (it rhymes, XD). She lied Chiyo down and asked politely, "Could you heal him too?"
