      S I L V E R - B U L L E T S
        Application for Oekaki Moderator
What date did you register as a CS member?:
      - I joined the website on December 28th, 2009, and have been rather active since then.
How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying):
      - I have made a total of 8,423 posts at the time of this application, I think that it is reasonable to say that a majority of them are in some way related to the Oekaki boards.
How many days a week do you usually visit CS?
      - I visit Chicken Smoothie no less than seven days a week, as I am very dedicated to this site and all that I have become involved with on it.
How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?
      - I generally spend 4 + hours on Chicken Smoothie all days of the week. Sundays, however, are a bit slower for me, as I spend my time cleaning the house.
Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them
      - No I do not, not with official moderator status, but I help my friend moderate a fanclub on here if it is needed(Fanclub/Army) I help the moderators on the JBD Fansite(mainly the chat room) when I am asked to, and whenever I am granted a small portion of power(I have permission to post this here from one mod, and asked another of his opinion on how I operate).
Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw?
Of course c: Most of my development in the digital art category took place using the oekaki program. It prepared me for bigger and more complex digital art programs such as SaI(Paint Tool), Photoshop, and Gimp.
Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there?
-Absolutely without a doubt, yes. Art is my passion it does not matter if I am making it, or looking at it, I am doing something related to it with every drop of free time I have. I can confidently say that whenever I am not doing something along the lines of replying to a roleplay, or something that is totally unrelated to the site, I am browsing through every single section of the oekaki boards. I have to say one of the key inspirations I have for art tend to be the things I see by others, the techniques some of the artists on this website inspire me to go off and try something similar whether or not an artists statement is included on the picture description. So it's a habit of mine to go browsing through the oekaki for the heck of it.
Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS?
      - As I stated previously in the answer above, my passion for art is like no other thing I have ever experienced. I need it almost as much as I need air to breathe, and to be granted the position of oekaki moderator on my favorite website would make me so happy, I cannot even begin to imagine it. I also love to help out others no matter what the situation they bring me may be. I can say that my passion for art was a major motivational factor in the submission of this application. Aside from that, I really do love doing others justice when it comes to art thievery, and helping them with whatever they need it with c:
    Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required);
      - I understand both versions and the capabilities of oekaki, and can explain them with ease to just about anyone, I am very organized and know my way around the oekaki boards very well. I can communicate with anyone excellently regardless of how stubborn and rude they may return their comments to me. My social skills are very advanced, and I can clearly explain my reasoning for actions I carry through with in anything I do. I can bring quite a bit to the counter in regards to knowledge about other off site art programs. I can prove to be a friendly and reasonable moderator should I be granted the position, and I am not easily biased or manipulated in regards to anything.

What date did you register as a CS member?:
    I registered 23Mar2011

How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying):
I have made 5766 posts, prior to this one.

How many days a week do you usually visit CS?
Seven days a week. There a few days on and off when I can not get on, though they are rare, but I try to get on for at least an hour or so every day.

How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?
The life of a CS addict...
At lease six or seven. I usually get on when I get home from school, and stay on until I go to bed. I am online for most of the day, and sometimes well into the night.
On weekends, I usually stay up pretty late, sometimes into the next day, so I am quite active. During the weekends, I'm no for about ten or twelve hours.

Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them
I am unsure if this counts, but I have been the co-owner of the Makoto family back on Mweor, while under the username Dark Neko. Here is the link
I have been a mini mod on a few roleplay boards, both on here and a few other sites, but I apologize as I do not remember the name at the moment.

Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw?
Yes! Before my tablet broke a few months ago, I would constantly be on the Oekaki, drawing and looking at other user's art.

Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there?
Yes, I love looking at other people's art. I believe that it helps me as an artist with anatomy, as I do have a little trouble in that area, but that's off topic.
The Oekaki boards are neat, as I think so. It's the second reason why I like this site, because art is where people can express themselves through their drawings.
I do go on Oekaki at least three or four times every day.

Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS?
Well... I want to put this simply. I've been on here for nearly two years, and I've seen many trolls and art thieves. I, personally, don't like it when other people steal. I know other people feel the same way, too. I've had one of my character designs stolen before, and it just felt horrible. I don't want other people to go through that, and I have caught a few people stealing art before, on this and other sites. I want to be able to take care of them, as in 'bring them to justice', for lack of a better word.
I've also seen people that have posted on the wrong board, and have to wait hours before their topic is moved, and I know waiting can be frustrating, so I'd like to ease the tension there, as well.
I do spend a few hours on that board every day, just to see what people have posted, and I do believe that I can help people with any problems they are having with the Oekaki system.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position?
Well, at a few points in my life, I've babysat children. Young children. I've dealt with attitudes and disrespect on the highest levels, and at this point, I'm used to it and know how to handle those situations very well. My friends also see me as a counselor, so to speak. When they have something on their chest, they come to me and vent.
I've also been under a lot of stress before, as has everyone. I can remain calm in stressful situations, and I can, with much work, ease my way out of it.
That's all I can really think of at the moment, actually.

    -

Thank you, and good luck to everyone!

1. What date did you register? I registered March 27th 2012.
2. How many posts have you made? 1,780 posts.
3. How many days a week do you get on CS? 7 days.
4. How many hours per day do you spend here? About 4.
5. Have you moderated any other fourms? No.
6. Have you ever used the cs oekaki to draw? Yes, I love it.
7. Do you ever browse the oekaki to see the drawings? Yes, all the time! I love to look at all the art :-)
8. Why do you want to become a oekaki moderator? Wow. There are so many reasons. I love art and to look at it. I could browse it all day. I have read the cs rules about 3 or 4 times, so I know what is allowed. Nude and bloody drawings will not discomfort me. I am a nice, calm person. I love learning about art, and it has done so much in my life. If I had computer acces, (on a tablet) I would draw much more. I think it would be fun and truly amazing. Thank you for this chance. :-)

What date did you register as a CS member?: 11 Feb 2012, 22:14
How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying): 1447
How many days a week do you usually visit CS? All days.
How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit? About 3-4-5 hours.
Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them
Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw? Yes many times.
Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there? Yes lots.
Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS? Because art is a big part in my life, and being a Oekaki moderator would be so fun, and sometimes hard. But I am up for any challenge that I would have to stand for. I also know the right words to say and I don't get very mad and I deal with things appropriately, calmly, and safely.
Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) (for example have you had any experience in peer mediation? Have you had a ton of experience using the oekaki program?) I have helped adopt a newbie, I know how to calm people down in fights, and ease tension.

Tess. Thank you for letting us have such an honour! Of being an Oekaki Moderator!

What date did you register as a CS member?: (if it's less than 6 months ago, do not apply) 22 Apr 2011 10:43
How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying): (if it's less than 300, do not apply) 7314. It's been low lately.
How many days a week do you usually visit CS? Every day a week at least once.
How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit? 1-5 hours. I linger.
Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them Nope.
Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw? Yes I have.
Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there? yes.
Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS? I want to be mod because I feel that i have time to help out when others are busy with work and such. I love helping people any way possible no matter who they are. Even if they're my mortal enemy. People on other sites that don't reveal age admit they thought I was a 16 year old, which i'm not. I'm younger. I can usually handle problems without getting agitated or taking it personal.
Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) (for example have you had any experience in peer mediation? Have you had a ton of experience using the oekaki program?) I've had experience in peer mediation. Both in real life and on the internet. I haven't had a TON of experience, but I know enough to know what all things do.

January 11th, 2012
2. How many posts have you made in the forum:
2723
3. How many days a week do you usually visit CS?
6-7
4. How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?
3-8, may vary on particular days.
5. Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them
no
6. Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw?
Yes but, mostly on editables because I do not possess skill for digital art.
7. Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there?
Yes, especially the editables and adoptables. I check popular this week well, weekly, and I occassionally visit beginners and intermediate to see what others have created.
8. Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS?

I've used the oekaki for quite a while and have basic knowledge of all the tools. I settle many arguements at home because I have multiple siblings who like to quarrel.
