What date did you register as a CS member?:
Fri Oct 29, 2010 4:17 pm

How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying):
9791 posts and counting

How many days a week do you usually visit CS?
7 days a week

How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?
About 6 hours on weekdays and 12 hours or more on weekends

Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them
I moderate/am an artist for the Jellybean Dragon(s) Fanclub

Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw?
Yep, I use it almost every day (usually) even if it's just a sketch

Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there?
The Oekaki threads are where I spend my time mainly. I like participating in adoptables as well. I get around a lot of the forums on a daily basis and enjoy talking with artists about their pieces.

Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS?
I spend a lot of time on CS in general and would love to dedicate a lot of it to helping keep the threads clean. I like helping mods now by reporting topics that I see that are in the wrong forum.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position
I feel like I do personally have a lot of experience with the Oekaki program. I have 1141 drawings and counting. I also am taking Spanish and have had 2 "official" courses of it (Spanish I, Spanish II), but have been in classes of it since elementary school. Modding for Jellybean Dragons has given me experience with peer mediation and dealing with bullying as well.

No, honestly, I really wish I could.
Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw?

All the time |D
Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there?

I love doing that, probably my favourite thing to do.
Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS?

Well, I've never really done anything like this, I mean this is my first, but it seems fun. I can actually help people with problems that aren't used to me. I honestly love helping people, where I live people usually come to me if they are having a problem. I have this little girl, she has issues with being rude and picking fights, and she always comes to me when she's having a problem. I never solve things with arguing, or violence, but by calm nature. I would love to do this.
Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position

I'm good with helping solve arguments. I am always calm, and I guess, I just think I can do this for you guys.
My c$ store is still open! if the item or pet you want is in a locked group pm me and I'll either give you a price or notify you if it's up for trade or not. all of my prices are located in my trade rules. Happy holidays and happy trading!

I do not feel I have anything in particular to offer, but i want t0o learn so I can teach other people. The quickest way to get rid of the rule breaking is to educate the people. I know you guys put work into all the warnings and the rule thread that is everywhere, but I feel many peopel ignore this. I want to put it around, and just alert people, so they eventually get it into their heads.

What date did you register as a CS member?:
    Sat Aug 29, 2009 10:44 am

How many posts have you made in the forum:
    24,272 and counting cx

How many days a week do you usually visit CS?
Every day, I never miss a day of CS

How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?
I feel sort of odd answering this, I spend way too long. 8am-9am and then after school 4pm-12am

Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them
Yes! I was a mod for Cyber Bunnies, and I'm currently a mod for Jellybean Dragons, Kiamaras, and Tenebris adopts. As you can see, I go on Oekaki threads all the time, and I'm able to deal with people who don't understand things in a nice and calm manner.

Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw?
I have many unfinished sketches, and I have a tablet that I plan on hooking up when my laptop is fixed. I usually like to color things in, but I am aware of all the rules for the Oekaki boards and know how to catch who is doing bad things. c:

Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there?
All the time! I love to comment on random drawings and like many I see. I encourage people who don't draw as well, and let them know that over time they will get better.

Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS?
I love to help out. I'm a person who loves to keep busy and make sure things are right, since I'm rarely overwhelmed. I'm constantly online, and in a good way, too. I get straight A's at school, and my parents are very open and supportive of CS, so I will never be gone for a week because I'm grounded or something. I will always be around, wanting help. I've helped on the Fair Trade Trade, and I've adopted a newbie, who is getting along fine here. Helping out just brings joy to my heart, and I remember the days back when I understood nothing about CS. Sadly, no one was there to help me. I want to change that, and I want to be able to help out people when needed, making CS even more amazing then it currently is.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position?
Yes! My art isn't very wonderful, which is why I haven't posted much of it. I have lots of unfinished drawings though, and once I hook up my tablet I'm positive that my art will improve. I'm often chosen as a mod for other Oekaki Adoptables because I don't skip over things. I read the rules and gain experience, and I'm able to understand things better then some. I never blow up and you will never see me talking to people who need help, using faces like ">>" or ">.<" in the post. I don't want to make people who have a question feel bad, and I don't want them to get upset if they don't understand things. I'm able to keep a calm and collected manner when talking to others, so they don't get upset, and they understand.

What date did you register as a CS member?: December 1st, 2010

How many posts have you made in the forum: 20,545

How many days a week do you usually visit CS? Everyday typically unless I go on vacation or something of the sort and even then I tend to sneak on ^^

How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?
I usually spend at least 2-3 hours a day on weekends and weekdays I go on for around the same amount, maybe less if I have serious matters. I spend a lot of time on XS, especially on weekends but weekdays too.

Have you moderated on any other forums before?
Not really, CS is pretty much the only site that I play actively.

Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw?
Of course, who hasn't done a doodle here or there? I've done a few drawings though I am definitely not an artist but it is entertaining to goof around and read the critique I receive for the work. I like coloring in editable drawings occasionally as well.

Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there?
I do go to the oekaki board to mess around or look at the editables. I tend to check the features whenever they are updated on the home page. I admire some of the users art on this site greatly as there are some amazing artists on CS.

Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS?
Honestly, probably for the same reason many people want to be a moderator, to join in the community and give back to CS and it's amazing users. I love to help and if I can help in any way, I have to go for it. I went through a rough spot in my life awhile ago and some of the users on CS really helped me. I hope I can be of service to the users who make this site enjoyable and the way it is today.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position:

I am pretty good when it comes to talking to people and have had my fair share of mediating in my life as we all probably do. I'm sure there is someone who is much more qualified than I but I'm merely a humble user taking a shot at what I hope will help me help others. If I don't get the position, I can understand why but I plan to keep trying and you know you'll see my form in the next openings.

Cat: What do I get out of it?
Vincent: One kickbutt boyfriend/bodyguard. And you know, a destined love.
Cat: Oh that. I'll take it.

Her ideal date is dinner on a rooftop or hanging out on a fire escape.

Cat, don't you get it? You are my gem.

What date did you register as a CS member?

    January 1st, 2010.

How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying):

    8,847.

How many days a week do you usually visit CS?

    7.

How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?

Usually between 4-5 hours during the week, and 9-10 hours on weekends.

Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them

I haven't moderated any forums before. However, I am an admin (which is one step below owner) on a minecraft server that gets around 15-20 members a day, so I know how to moderate fairly well with a live chat. I am pretty confident that I can deal with forums as well. I also am a moderator for Adopt A Newbie, so that also contributes to my prior experience.

Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw?

Although I admit that I do not use it as much as I used to(It is a bit too simplistic for my tastes), I do use it once in a while. I know how to use the tools and other Oekaki options well, since Oekaki started my interest in digital art.

Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there?

Yes. To be honest, I browse far more than I actually use it - I really love seeing people's styles and creativity, so it inspires my own art sometimes. It allows me to visibly watch other artists progress, as well as helping me improve my own art. I also have to admit that I don't comment fairly often on pieces, but I do make the best effort to report any oekaki's that are in the wrong board or that beak the rules.

Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS?

As I stated before, my whole interest in digital painting blossomed from the oekaki. I browsed the board at the start of my Oekaki 'career' fairly often, admiring the work and eventually I was propelled to start drawing myself. At first I only had oekaki, and I taught myself to use the tools and layers and whatnot. Since I have oekaki to owe for my success and growth as an artist, I want to start to give back to the Oekaki community.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position?

As an artist myself, I know that art theft is serious. I have a pretty decent eye for spotting art theft and the like, because I browse deviantArt pretty often (which is where I've noticed a lot of the thefted art originates from, and have learnt how to tell if somebody's stealing), and I want to help keep the Oekaki boards a friendly and clean community.

I understand the responsibility and requirements that an oekaki moderator must fulfill, I feel that I am ready to take on this task. I can handle myself maturely during an argument and keep others calm as well. I feel that, over the years, my peer mediation skills have also greatly been improved. Since joining the Adopt A Newbie team, and becoming the admin of a Minecraft server, I have learned to be patient because I understand that not everyone is so quick to catch things.

Oekaki is one of the best things that this site has offered me, and it would mean the world to me to be able to help keep it run smoothly, because I would hate to see the feature removed or limited due to rulebreaking.

Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw?
Of course, a wonderful tool to have around in case you get bored.
Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there?
Yes, I find it wonderful to see others gorgeous art pieces.
Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS?
I want to be a mod because I want to keep things in shape and not out a whack on the drawing boards, I have seen many things in my life and I don't want to see them on a kids site, nor do I want this site shut down from users posting profanity. Yes, I can admit kids don't know any better but a mod(s) for the oekaki is the perfect way to calm down a child that had gotten their image(s) taken down.
I would love to contribute to helping out on the fourms here and making CS a little better each day, I love this site dearly and I would go crazy if it where ever shut down from something such as art theft.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) (for example have you had any experience in peer mediation? Have you had a ton of experience using the oekaki program?)
I used to be a Peer Mediator for the 7th grade, I still am for the High-School.

What date did you register as a CS member?: (if it's less than 6 months ago, do not apply)
Monday, January 17, 2011

How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying): (if it's less than 300, do not apply)
4900
(Or 4901, counting this post! c:)

How many days a week do you usually visit CS?
As many as I am able, usually every night unless I have something going on such as homework or such. On the weekends, I tend to be on much more as I have much more time.

How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?
Weekdays, about 1-3 hours, weekends about 2-6 hours each day.

Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them
No, not yet officially, although I'm a moderator on another small adoptable pet site that hasn't opened yet.

Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw?
Yes! I love to draw on the oekaki program, although I can't say I'm the best. I prefer traditional drawing although digital with my tablet is pretty fun to mess around with too. I love to color in people's drawings, though, it's fun.

Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there?
Yes! I have some favorite artists who post occasionally on the intermediate board (Plus it's a lot of fun to go and admire the other drawings, too! I wish I could draw like that!) Like I said earlier, I also love to color in drawings on the Color-In Board and generally see what new linearts are out, because there are a lot of cool ones out there. Adoptables, too... I love seeing what characters and designs people can come up with.

Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS?
I want to be a moderator so I can contribute a bit more to the site. I've started to not use CS as much, and that's making me a bit sad because CS is one of my favorite websites. I just want to make the site as good as it can and give back as much as it gave me.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position?
I do have a good source of knowledge of using the oekaki program. I'm also very good at keeping calm, but that isn't much. c:

What date did you register as a CS member?: (if it's less than 6 months ago, do not apply)
I registered on CS in March 17th 2010

How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying): (if it's less than 300, do not apply)
I have made 4274 posts since joining CS, this post makes it 4275.

How many days a week do you usually visit CS?
I visit CS daily, it's uncommon for me to skip days on CS, but reliable that I visit on a daily bases.

How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?
My time on CS ranges most of the time; sometimes I might visit for about an hour or less and most times I will visit for more then 2 hours or around 2 hours. My time varies if I have something I would like to take care of on CS or if I'm busy with other tasks.

Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them
I have moderated a few forums, most of them being something I have created. One thread I can remember mostly though is Lights on Lights off in October 2012, link.
I've also moderated other small threads such as other members art shop and during my newbie year on CS I helped out on an adoptable thread called Red Dog Adopts. It's no longer active anymore since it was made a long time ago.
I also administrate my own dA fan group which has over 200 members; link.
One other large thread I used to moderate was Bloom Dapple.

Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw?
I have used oekaki to draw multiple times, 2010-2011 was the most time I ever used it. I don't use it as much anymore since now I have a variety of art programs I can use straight from my computer, but every now and then I'll draw there.

Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there?
Sometimes I will go to the oekaki boards to look at recent art, it's uncommon for me to go there however I sometimes browse through some of the art.

Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS?
I would like to be an oekaki moderator because I know oekaki is a confusing program to use at first, I know first hand how it feels like. I wish to lend a helping hand to those who have lesser knowledge on the oekaki board rules or using chibipaint. I know and understand many members can only use that program and assume that they want to work their way up to the intermediate oekaki boards, since most experienced digital artists post there. Taking CS members under my wing would be a joyous opportunity.

My skills at understanding a players problem could come in handy, I have always been there to comfort people. I am also quite strict and will not hesitate when needed; if justice is needed that is. I'm a very patient member and will be willing to wait for a member to fully understand what might be needed i.e; if they don't fully understand a rule or if they need some enlightenment on chibipaint.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) (for example have you had any experience in peer mediation? Have you had a ton of experience using the oekaki program?)
I have gained much experience from the oekaki program from 2010 to now; learning to improve along the way and picking up any tips on how to improve your drawings. I could flick back to my first ever drawing and look at my most recent one and can definitely tell I have gained experience. I also understand the situation where members could start to argue, I know how I should approach a situation like this. If the situation gets worse then I know that I would lock the thread so no more posts would be made and if any 'rude' criticism was made that I would delete it immediately. Getting the wrong criticism could be vital to a members spirit for they might find their drawing amazing while other members may not see it.

Also I have some experience in accepting and declining art, I run a group on dA, as I have said before, where the rules are quite similar to the ones on CS. It gets 10-20 submissions a day, the reason I'm pointing this out is because COPPA'd needs to have their artwork accepted to be posted.
