What date did you register as a CS member?: April 4th, 2011

How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying): exactly 10849 [+1 if you count this one]

How many days a week do you usually visit CS? nearly every day unless I'm on vacation or am particularly busy, but of course this isn't very often.

How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit? hmm.. it varies depending on what's going on. it ranges from a couple minutes to 5-6 hours.

Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them; i have founded, moderated, and done art for the BCAA [Big Cat Art Awareness] which was popular for a little while before it eventually died. While it was going, though, we had contests, roleplays, and an official character adoption thread. viewtopic.php?f=39&t=1150326&hilit=BCAA

Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw? yes, i used to rely on it before i got a tablet and photoshop.

Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there? every so often i check back there, not as often as i would like to though.

Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS? this sounds cheesy, but i'd love to be a part of the CS staff because i've met so many awesome people on this site and i'd like to help out in a better way than i currently do. most of my online friends i met through CS and for that i am so grateful beyond words. not only that, but i adore the art here. it's all just so fantastic and creative and there's just absolutely no words to describe it's complete awesomeness. that about sums it up i suppose.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position? well i believe so. i often end up being the one to help sort out other's problems, whether it be something with art theft or just a random, everyday debate turned into a huge fight between people who were best friends. i've been in the middle of both situations and i do my best to help resolve whatever's going on. i'm no buddha, i'm not always right, nor do i always make the right decisions on how to handle a situation. but i still try and i usually do end fights before things get too serious, and i like to use humor to do so. i know because my two best friends once got into a huge fight and i had to step in and break it up.
i have a good experience with oekaki thanks to having using it for a long time before i got PS with my tablet. i don't exactly know the new version inside-out, but i know enough about it and java to be able to help out, i'm sure. if there's anything i don't know i would ask one of my friends and i'm sure they'll help me out with it. no, i KNOW they will. i have no doubt in my mind. i will not be alone if i get this job, i swear that to you.

good luck choosing, this is definitely going to be difficult for you, i'm sure *o*

What date did you register as a CS member?:
I joined on Wed Jul 21, 2010 at 9:15 pm
How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying):
    2605 posts currently.
How many days a week do you usually visit CS?
    I'm on it daily.
How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?
It ranges anywhere from a mere six hours to nearly nine.
Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them
Currently, I have not, though I am a mod for the popular species Jellybean Dragons (by Hiccup) as well as the new species, Ochiru by Pachoofoosh.
Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw?
I have, though I prefer Paint Tool SAI much more and use it much more often.
Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there?
Often, I do. I leave I like, and maybe a comment, but again rarely do I draw. I'm one of those 'lurkers', as one would say, rather than a more forward 'poster'.
Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS?
I see mods such as Bern or Hekomi help pick out tad bits and such from the Oekaki forums, and well, I would very much enjoy helping them. I want to help the younger users of CS learn their place in the website, before some of the ruder users get to them, too. Really, my reasons for wanting to help vary. It all really just lands on the fact that I see that some mods need help, and as a spectator I'm active enough to help the staff with that little extra push.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) (for example have you had any experience in peer mediation? Have you had a ton of experience using the oekaki program?)

Actually, yes, I have had experiences in peer meditation, and I believe it would be on behalf of my greater good side to tell you it helped me out. Though I will admit to having an issue with being stubborn.

On another note, I'd like to say I know Oekaki quite well and I would be willing to help out anyone who shot me a PM! I also know many other programs well, such as SAI, Corel Painter, Pencil, and Paint.

Thanks for considering me and have a wonderful evening!
basically quit lol

What date did you register as a CS member?:
I registered Sat Jun 11, 2011 4:08 pm
How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying):
5098 posts.
How many days a week do you usually visit CS?
Every single day out of the week.
How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?
Up to seven hours on weekdays, and up to ten hours on weekdays.
Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them
I have. Including the Sunwolves Forums as a General Moderator- Sorry if the link doesn't work, the site went down a while ago-, and the Unidaehr's Thread as an owner and moderator- Found here {died of inactivity}.
Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw?
Plenty of times! It's an easier program than Photoshop for me to use.
Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there?
I do, especially the Sketches and Experiments Board, as it's interesting to see the art, species, and skills that people are currently working on. I've browsed the Intermediate Oekaki as well, and have been known to haunt the Adoptable Oekaki. I'm a stalker and lurker on those forums though more than I'm a critic or poster.~
Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS?
I'd love to help others learn the program's ins and outs, because although it is easy, some of the lesser known features of the Oekaki program are rather difficult to understand and use. I'm quite proficient with the program, and although my shading's not up to par as most, and my linearts as well, I know how to help others improve in their weaknesses when using the program.
I'd also want to help prevent art theft on a larger scale. I've seen it happen to artists who don't deserve their art being stolen, and I would love to aid in the prevention of art theft here on CS.
In all, I just want to give back to the forums and to all the inspiring artists here on CS that have urged me to continue drawing on the site.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required);
I've been a peer mediator in middle school, and many of my close friends come to me for help when dealing with a tough situation. I also have four younger siblings, so I've certainly had experience dealing with squabbles between younger people. I'm proficient with the Oekaki program as well, and will be more than happy to give some expertise with the ins and outs of the program and any other computer software or gadgets {Tablets included} that can be used with the program.

{Thank you for the opportunity again. ^^;}

1.What date did you register as a CS member?:
November 14th, 2010
2.How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying):
7699
3.How many days a week do you usually visit CS?
Every single day, unless sick
4.How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?
I try to fit at least three, way more on Fridays and weekends
5.Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them
Not really. I've minimodded a ton of older threads that are now dead, but... I know I was a previous WGI mod ^^
6.Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw?
Yeah, but it's a ton harder than traditional, so I typically only color.
7.Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there?
A thousand times yes. I am a very faithful art stalker of quite a few people here!
8.Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS?
I've always wanted to be able to do something that would make CS a better place, and have a useful position of some sort. Isn't that every CSian's dream? I'd be surrounded by amazing pieces of art every single day and be able to help those epic artists. Also, it'd give me another job to do after I'm done with school and work. I would love to help break up fights quickly so that peace can be restored, and keep anything that shouldn't be on the forums out. I know the rules, I'm extremely patient with other users, and I can keep things organized neatly. Another reason is that a pet peeve of mine is art being in the wrong forum (especially beginner's posts that belong in advanced) and it'd be a joy to move those for them. COPPAs are also a joy to help out and work with, and I would love to help get their artworks approved as soon as possible. So overall, it'd just be a dream to help CS in this way.
9.Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required)
I'm extremely patient both on the internet and in real life, I don't judge, and I can deal with people that are angry about something or someone. I have been a peer tutor and am calm around problems. I am used to how Oekaki works, and I can try my best to pick out art theft. On this site, I have at least five people at a time come to me with their problems and I stalk the Comfort Corner to see if there's anyone else needing advice or a shoulder to cry on.

How many days a week do you usually visit CS?
      7
How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?

Just some smaller personal forums, nothing worth noting.
Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw?
      Yes.
Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there?
Yes, at least 20-30 minutes every day, usually.
Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS?
I feel like it would be a nice position to be in, as I love to browse the Oekaki and view all of the art that others post. I feel like I have a good understanding of what is appropriate, where everything belongs, etc.
Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position?
I know how to use the Oekaki program thoroughly, and like I stated above, I have a good idea of how the Oekaki boards are here on the forums and how they are organized. I'm also good with other art programs and with devices such as tablets, so if any users needed a question relating to any of these answered, I could gladly help.

APPLICATON
What date did you register as a CS member?:
I registered on Friday October the 14, 2011, at precisely 3:54 pm

How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying):
    I have made 3,281 posts

How many days a week do you usually visit CS?
I like to log in at least once each day - even if I can't stay for long, I just log in to check up on bookmarks, PMs and just keep up to date.

How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?
It depends what I'm doing that day, really, and how long I plan to spend on CS. My visits range from 5 minutes to a few hours - usually a few hours if there's something I need to get done on CS, or if I have some time to kill. But of course, there's the whole 'real life comes before CS', so if I have an overload of work, I'm going to have less time for CS. I don't really record how long I spend on there, as I tend to lose track of time, but I'm on and off through the weekdays and on a tad less on weekends. My time doesn't tend to come in large chunks, it is in more smaller blocks.

Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them
    Nope, I haven't. But there's always a first time...

Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw?
Of course I have! I've posted in all the areas too, except for Editable Oekaki.

Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there?
Actually, I have! When I have time to kill, that happens to be the board I visit most often. The Adoptable Oekaki, Competitions and Intermediate Oekaki are my top hits.

Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS?
Well, I may not be the most experienced at such a high level of modding and such, but I'm always up for a challenge. I want to give others the help and guidance that other people gave me in CS, and I want to be as much help in the CS community as I can - not just another user, another random avatar, but someone who people will think of and go "yeah, that person, she's always been really helpful and nice to me." I also would love to have the experience, to see what it's like doing something like this. And I wouldn't be doing it for the custom pet. I didn't even know that you could get those...

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required)
I wouldn't say that I have had heaps and heaps of experience in the Oekaki program, but it's one of the art programs I use the most. I know a fair amount of tips and tricks in it, and I would love to show others what sneaky things I've learnt. I'd also like to be a valuable addition to the CS staff, because of the person I am. I can be stern when I need to, but I hope that, if I get the role, I can be seen as a helpful, cheerful moderator who can always brighten up your day.

How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit? 3-5
Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them no :(
Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw? Very often, but since I haven't been available to a computer in a while, I can't very often.
Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there? Always
Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS? I believe that the oekaki boards should be spam free, safe, and fun ;)
Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) (for example have you had any experience in peer mediation? What date did you register as a CS member?:
January 31st 2012

How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying):
I have posted 5464 times.
How many days a week do you usually visit CS?
Usually every day, unless something major in RL life happens. I usually log on to see my PM's and Trades, and usually the new art in the Okeki boards.
How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?
On the weekends, at least a few hours, unless work gets in my way. Week days have a few less, maybe an hour or two, but maybe less. Depends on RL and any work that decides to pull me off. If I have nothing in my way on the weekend, I can go full geek mode and stay on this for ages x3
Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them
I have moderated at least one group, who I sadly can't find the link for now. But I have had a small experience.
Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw?
Yes, but I recently got a tablet, so I plan on spending more time.
Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there?
Yep c: I spend time looking through the featured art and the intermediate, and checking up on the new adoptables.
Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS?
I have always wanted to be a mod, and I have a very big interest in art, so it's like combining my two favourite topics x3
Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position?
I often have small moments when I have had to correct or speak calmly to someone who is obviously angry at me. So I think I can bring that calm to the anger that some members have when something happens to the drawing :3

What date did you register as a CS member?
    26th of January, 2009
How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying):
    4659
How many days a week do you usually visit CS?
I try to get on atleast once a day to check up on threads and look at art.
How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?
On weekdays it varies from an hour to 3 hours. On the weekends, I usually spend longer on CS, although I've never really kept a decent track of time. It probably ranges from 4 to 5 hours on a normal day.
Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them
Sadly not. I was a roleplay moderator on a site that's long since taken offline, but from there on, I haven't been active enough on any site but CS to grant myself a moderator position.
Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw?
    Yes, plenty of times.
Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there?
Absolutely. From the average 2 hours a day I spend on CS, a lot of it goes to browsing the oekaki. I just adore seeing new art.
Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS?
The oekaki boards are among my favourite boards on CS (if not my favourite), and it'd be an absolute delight if I could help moderate them, keep them clean and help out others. I already spend quite an awful lot of time browsing art, and it'd be an honour to be part of the staff so I could help keeping the oekaki boards a lovely place. I also feel as if I have a decent judgment on where art belongs in case art needs to be moved.
Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required)
I suppose I have pretty decent knowledge on the oekaki tools, how they work and on the programme itself. I try to help out people who have oekaki related problems a lot and will continue to do this. I also think of myself as a patient person who's willing to give people the help and attention they need. I run The Artist Army along with a few fantastic other users so I know somewhat of the artist community here on CS. I have dealt with art theft before, and have put time into searching for sources so there'll be no loose accusations.
