Eeek, I had a wyrm nightmare tonight... that I for some reason gave Shasty to my niece (10 years old), and she broke him. T_T I was furious and raged at her that I gave him to her for taking care of him, with guarantees she wont hurt him, while trying to fix Shasty whos fur was all messed up and head was separated from body. Eeek! *hugs Shasty* Dont worry boy, Ill never give you to anyone, you're mine..

Eeek! Sounds horrific! Headless wyrms are not a fun thing to suddenly come upon. *shudder* Let alone the thought of somebody doing that to them. *pat pat* At least it was only a dream.

Back from the funeral services and spending time with family. Bittersweet trip, as it was good to see those we love, and sad to say goodbye to one who was so well loved by so many. It's been years since I've attended a wake with that huge a crowd, the entire room was wall to wall with flowers. Still trying to wrap my head around saying goodbye, which is always hard.

Getting things back in order, doing laundry, catching up on things that need doing around the house. Went for my yearly eye exam today, and am still blurry and dilated. I look like our cats when they're high on "The Nip". The upside is everything looks good, so another yearly worry out to rest. With as bad as my eyes are, it's always a bit of a nail biter that the Dr.will find something horrible and tell me I'm going to go blind. Every artist's nightmare, I think. Knock wood, eyes are healthy and full of squishy gel like they're supposed to be.

Might stream a bit tonight, don't know what did be working on. Just kind of need something relaxing and fun to de-stress after an emotionally draining weekend. Will post a link if I end up streaming, will be about 9pm EST starting.

Will be posting pics VERY soon of all the international winter breeding babies, and am getting started on batch 2. Had a delay because I was trying to work out how I wanted to do the wings on the Wyverns. Being as I offer the option of them being wearable, like the Wyrms, I want something flexible and less likely to be broken than just regular polymer clay, especially with the wings being thin. I have a couple of options, might show them during the stream to get all your opinions.

For now, gonna go nap until my eyes are back to normal. Blah....

Take all the time you need HM! You certainly deserve it. I hope your eyes keep holding strong, that's always very scary. I'll try to join the stream, but it might be unlikely, though I'm over the top excited about seeing the international babies! I can't wait.

Go take a long nap and hopefully dad or grandma can take care of toots while you sleep!

-I hate funerals but in the same sense they're a way everyone can get together in a time of loss. Been through some of those before so I can understand the emotional aspect of it. Sorry for your loss and hope your doing well.
-Gah, the terrible eye problems! I myself have eye problems since I wear glasses 24/7 and still have a bit of trouble reading things. At least you're healthy enough to continue on with your art! :3

-I will most certainly join the stream, though it will be on my ipod and I can't chat and watch with it but I'll still watch! I went to the docs today for an ear problem and my left ear is infected again, so hopefully that won't bother me tonight. X3

Hey guys, I need Wyrm "flavors"!



So, I did a batch of TV show themed Mule Wyrms for MFF last year (Firefly, Supernatural, Dr. Who) and they were a blast! Have been thinking about doing more themed mules, which would allow me to make fun, unique OOAK Wyrms without the stress of figuring out genetics. I could just go nuts with their designs and look. And I'd been noodling over an idea for a bit when one of our handlers contacted me about one of the very themes I'd been considering......Tea "flavored" Wyrms! The idea is simple....make Wyrms based off favorite teas. I really love the idea, and want to see if you all would be interested. I'd probably do them as a semi regular thing, popping a few up onto etsy for those who can't get to conventions, and doing a couple for con blind draws. Being as there are about a zillion different kinds of tea, it would be easy to vary it up.heck, if I'm really inspired I might play around with minis or standards in the tea theme. Whatcha think? Would that be something you all would be into?

Chime in with types of tea you love and I'll start a running list of flavors to chose from for when I'm sculpting and furring.
