A small smile crept upon Apples face and he looked at his friend. "..You should try asking her out first." he said softly thinking hard. "I think she likes you more than you think y'know." He blushed "I'm no way ready for a mate.."

"You think she likes me?" he smiled slightly. "Did you see the way she ran?"He shook his paw. "Like this thing was bionic."

"Maybe she just... Argh I don't know..." He whined, his face falling into his paws. "..I-I can never seem to understand females like you.."

Gizmo grinned and ruffled his hair, though he himself was no older than Apple. "I dont know about the lady type, I just look like I do." he sighed frustratedly, and added, "Its because of my swag."

Apple giggled, feeling the tension between them subside slightly. "..I-I'm seriously lacking in the- swag department." He said with an amused grin and hot cheeks.

He smiked and sat up. He grabbed his paws and made him lean back and walk in a hipster-ish way. "No Apple, You are very much mistaken. Your so-oo swagiful!"

Apple batted out a paw softly and laughed. Steeping around clumsily on his paws. "T-thats not even a word!" he protested with a giggle, his eyes shining.

Apple face-pawed and flopped down onto his side exposing his fluffy belly to the flame and looked to his friend, a rare expression of untainted happiness on his face. "Your ridiculous!" he purred, a giggle in his throat.

Gizmo felt as if he were a kit again. "Doggy pile!" he yelped, jumping the the soft underside of his friend.
