Birch lowered her head a little tired from the sprint. ''Yeah. It was.'' she shivered, still trying to get over the quick fright. Her gaze trailed towards the direction they ran from. She snorted then shook her coat again

Chase looked behind them and saw they where clear from them"Guess all beautiful things must come to a end"he said sighing.

Birch shurgged, and shook her head so her forelock fell out of her eyes. ''Yeah, most things do.. but that's what makes them all the more special and beautiful.'' she murmured, pawing boredly at the dull ground. Birch closed her eyes and sighed before opening them and looking around. The place they were in wasn't as nice as the area before.

Chase looked around to see where they had run to. It was a very dense forest type area. There were a lot of trees and the ground was a little moist from water."We are just back to where we are at,a swampy place"he said with a sigh and trudged forward.

Badger smiled at her then nodded. "Sure, it sounds like fun." he stated as he began to trot to where the beach was. Once his hooves met sand he stopped to watch the water lap at the edge of the dry sand. His frame lowered onto the ground, letting the warmth of the sand warm his pelt once again. He rolled around in the sand before getting up and shaking the remaining sand free. The breeze of the water took hold of his mane and threw it behind him as he stood there watching the calm water.

Holly came trotting behind him and giggled as she watched him roll in the sand.
It looked nice, so she did it herself and shook her fur when she got up. Her mane getting all messy and layed to the other side, and some of it still hanging over her face.
The careful wind helped her getting it off her eyes and she looked at Badger, walking up to his side and their shoulders touched.
She looked out over the water.
"Wanna run out in it? On the count of three?" she said with a giggly smile.

Altair nodded "Thank you.."she said hearing what he said about reading him. Another wind gust came and knocked her mane back. "Oh and trust me i am not dangerous"she said grinning.

The stallion flicked his left ear as a mosquito attempted to land on it. "Oh really?" he taunted the mare, his voice with a light and joke-like tone. "And can you prove that you are no threat, eh?" He smirked in a mocking fashion. This mare seemed like a good sport.

He gave a smile and felt his cheeks go a little warmer when she gave him a hug.
The happiness tickled at his hooves and he smiled a bit wider, finally he had a friend.
He let out a sigh and looked down at the ground, he saw a small sandpath and walked up to it and started to draw in the sand with the tip of his alterns.
When he nodded at FeatherHeart, he wanted to show her a drawing of a wolf standing infront of a small foal with tiny alterns.
It looked scared at the wolf and the wolf barred it's teeth at the drawing.

She followed after him after seeing his signal. Curious, she stopped by his side and looked down at his drawings in the sand. Her eyes narrowed to make everything clearer. She could see a wolf and a... small foal. It took her a few moments before she asked him, "that foal... Is that you, Prince?"

Badger looked at Holly then smiled as he motioned his head towards the water. "Why don't you go out first, I'll be in shortly after." he said, gently nudging her forward some. He didn't take notice that their shoulders were touching until he briefly glanced down to see. He shook his head, tossing his mane over to one side then he let his gaze stare off at the open water they both came to. A few thoughts would travel through his mind as he stood there but he didn't think much of them since he had the company of a mare he's come to know.
