"North...? Then, after I sleep, we'll go meet friends?" Eva looked at him hopefully, not completely trusting his choice.

"Yes," Tsubasa told her. "After rest." He flapped his wings to get airborne.

Eva smiled politely, still not completely trusting him. "If we go toward those mountains," She pointed toward the horizon, "We should be able to find a cave to sleep in. I'll only sleep for three hours, so we can get back to your friends sooner."

(( I just spent five minutes on a phone with a Russian who had to use a satelite phone because of foxholes and bullets and stuff... Scariest background noise EVAR. Aaaaaaannnnd no sleep for me tonight... TT^TT

Keiy grinned and shuffled his feet, leaning on the wall of the staircase. "I honestly don't even know," he laughed. He started down the stairs a bit more; they were almost to the bottom, where the lonesome crutch lay waiting in the open doorway.
