I once had a CS dream. I wouldn't neccissarily call it a nightmare, but it was very interesting.
I, for the past few days, had been working on a humongous post with a TON of pictures in it. At least a hundred. And it took A WHILE to individually upload each image, so I got pretty tired of it. (This was in real life, by the way.) It was a post for this thread called, "Sad it isn't PPS?" Anyways, the post had a ton of categories (dogs, cats, fish, etc.) and I would post pictures of newborn or 2nd-stage pets that I thought should be PPS underneath each category. I had saved dogs for last since there were so many. What I did was I posted all the other animals, made sure it was nice and edited, then went on to the dogs. I finished with all the other animals late at night, so I decided to start on the puppies in the morning. I went to sleep, and had my dream:
I was at my computer on CS. I had just finished with the newborns, all even and edited, and decided to work on the very last part of the post: the 2nd-stage dogs. I started collecting pictures from the archives, then went to Tinypic, which is a website that lets you upload pictures. I chose the first dog, the BE Galaxy from early '08, and went through the uploading process. (You know, selecting the picture, filling out the code, etc.) Just as I went to post the URL code on the CS post, the dog jumped out of the screen! The computer screen rippled, almost like a sheet of water, and the dog leaped through and landed next to my chair. I looked at it, confused. My eyes went wide, and I thought I was just imagining it. (Technically I was imagining it, but the dream felt pretty real. I thought that it was real.) It jumped onto my lap, leaned against my chest, and lapped its tongue. I will be completely honest with you: In real life, I do not like dogs. I don't mean to offend any of those dog lovers out there, I'm just not keen on the species. I do however, think that wild dogs like wolves are ok. Back to the dream. Even though I'm not big on dogs, or their behavior, I was intrigued by the fact that a simple collection of pixels could just jump out of a screen and into reality. Remember, it was a dream, so I wasn't acting Ike I usually was. Because of this, I didn't pay much attention to the puppy after awhile, and resumed with my uploading. The next one I uploaded, the Pink Balloon, did the same thing. It jumped out of the screen, onto my lap, and wagged its tail. By this point, I was used to it. (Remember again, in real life I wouldn't have really acted like this. My dream-self is used to weird things by this point. ;P) I uploaded all the other pictures, and in the end had a pack of 70-or-so dogs all surrounding my desk. All of them had wide eyes and happy faces. I was done with the post, all edited and organized, so I decided to submit it. I glanced over at the dogs and smiled, as if I knew what would happen. "Bye guys! It was really cool meeting you. I'll see you soon!" With that, I hit submit, and all the dogs were sucked into the screen. They warped all at once and entered the screen like a person going into a black portal. I waved goodbye one last time, and let them go. I turned back to the screen, and went on with my life.
Anyways, I'm really sorry for such a long story. I'm not very good at summaries. I hope that you at least liked my boring lecture. That dream just was so weird, I thought I had to tell you about it. Thank you for your time! ^^
