"Oh. I just thought you liked Foxpaw... I mean, who doesn't? He is one of the best hunters and fighters in the clan... he doesn't have to prove his loyalty..." He mutters, remembering how he still had yet to prove to Brokenstar that he was no longer a loner. "Unlike me...." He growls, resting his head on his paws.

[EO+RS]

Sunpaw touched the tip of her tail to his shoulder comfortingly. "I believe you're loyal. And after today, well, you could've run for the hills at any point, but you stayed and fought. For the clan."

"But it's not enough for Brokenstar!" He growl, burying his face. "No she-cat has ever liked me- and never will because of how Brokenstar singles me out!" He sighs.

[EO+RS]

"I like you." said Sunpaw. "I was a she-cat last time I checked."

[despairz]

This brings a small smile to Flintpaw, "Well... I kinda like you too." He purrs

[EO+RS]

Sunpaw nodded, smiling. "I'm glad." she said, resting her head back on her paws and watching the camp entrance out of the corner of her eye, waiting for Foxpaw.

"I guess I'll just go... If Foxpaw comes back, I don't want to block his light." He mutters, padding into the apprentices' den, his tail dragging behind him.

Sunpaw sighed. She really did like all of the other apprentices, but Foxpaw... she shook her head, having no idea what to so or say anymore, and slipped into the den, curling up in her nest and wondering why she couldn't just be friends with all of them and love one.
