Lorcan snapped a branch digitally. He looked at Nix as she gasped, a look of confusion on his face

Briony heard a snap, and glanced upwards. "AHHHH" she screamed as a huge branch crashed into her and sent her tumbling down. She snapped her spine and neck, dead before she hit the ground, the cannon booming through the forest.
