Sunpaw looked up from her grief. Where was Foxpaw? She looked around, seeing a huddled mass of fur in a corner. "No!" She yowled, staggering to her paws and trying to get to him. "Foxpaw!" she kept trying to reach him, eventually dragging herself to him and burying her nose in his fur. "No... hang on, Foxpaw." She licked his ear, hoping, praying.

Flintpaw lets out a massive breath, then lets his eyes close and drift away.

Honeyleaf rushes around, treating every wound she could see. She treats Sunpaw, "Lay down and rest." She says and plods to Flintpaw, see his tiny,limp body. "Oh, Flintpaw..." Her eyes tear up, "I failed you." She buries her nose into his fur, tears seeping into his bloody fur.

"I.. know who to... save him.." Foxpaw breathed.

Sunpaw curled up and cried, hearing Honeyleaf. "No... Flintpaw..." she curled into as tight a ball as she could manage, not wanting to see or hear or feel any more grief. "Foxpaw..." She pressed into the nearest body to hers. "Don't you dare die." she mewed.

Rage suddenly goes up in Honeyleaf and she screeches, "Starclan aren't watching over us!" She leaps up and puts herbs on Flintpaw."Starclan bless this cat!" She yowls.

Flintpaw coughs, blood spitting from his cold throat. He shudders, breathing heavily.

Sunpaw looked up. She breathed out, shuddering as she slowly stopped crying. She flopped on the ground, heaving a sigh of relief. Exhausted, emotionally drained, and her fur brushing Foxpaw's, she started to drift off to sleep.

Sunpaw woke up again when she heard Foxpaw say something. She leaned in close to him. "What is it?" she mewed, trying to catch the words this time.
