Yup, we're still awake. Dayna's been sympathetic to me all evening, but mum's been pretty much ignorant surrounding my horrible case of love. Actually, according to Miss Smarty-Pants over here, it was never love because he doesn't like me back (supposedly - I disagree).
Anyway, we actually decided to sleep in Arthur's basement-den, since it's much cooler in there and it's a really hot night. But at this rate I'm not going to get much sleep sooooo ... Time for a midnight snack of double sugar!

We nearly got caught with goody-goody-gumdrop icecream, but Dayna (Smarty-pants comes in handy after all!) was able to sneak it into my sleeping bag. My mum was curious as to why I kept letting out a shriek when it touched my leg, but dismissed it and sent us back to bed. (:
Good night, Dayna's going to finish the icecream if I don't stop her ...

Dear Diary,

9:46 am
Mum was confused as to why we had no more icecream, but we convinced her it was down to bad memory and she just shrugged and moved on to her peanut butter and jelly toast. Meanwhile, Dayna and I slumped on the couch and watched TV for a while before my phone buzzed. This is what it read;
hey its Claudia, i herd ur goin 2 mall? come with me
At the end of the message, there was a girly smiley face with huge kissy lips (blame her customized phone rich daddy bought her). I showed Dayna who suddenly looked dismayed. I suggested we all go together and her face turned white.
What did I say?
Anywho, I turned down Claudia's offer and made an excuse I wasn't going to the mall - "we had unexpected guests". Dayna said she was surprised I said no and muttered something about precipices and peer pressure. Sounds deep.

We're on our way to Eden's place by bus. Apparently Eden has a pool, so we'll go back to her place after we've visited the mall. Thankfully there's a bus that goes down her road and my road, which is quite lucky ... In case you forgot, Eden is Dayna's cousin - we're all about the same age.
I better put you away for now.
