Head knight - 17 - Avalon
Tyler sighed softly as he finished brushing his horse, Ren. He smiled as he stroked the back of his loyal friend before he stretched and turned to walk out of the stables. The knight barely had any sleep last night due to travelling back and forth between Avalon and Elyadon, but it was needed. Tyler just walked around a bit before heading towards the practise field. No matter how tired the knight was, training had always been more important to him as sleep. Every knight should be able to fight in every condition, after all.

Serena sat on the bench for another twenty minutes before she stood up, taking a deep breath as she had managed it to order most of her mind. She slowly walked back to the place she had left KC, hoping he was still there. She soon saw the silhouette of her favorite prince and quietly approached him, her face a bit worried as she was still thinking. She studied Kaleb for a moment, before opening her mouth. "I'm sorry, Kaleb. I shouldn't have said that."

Kaleb looked up as Serena stepped back into view. He sighed after she spoke, turning his head back towards the water, and staring past the ripples and twists in the lake. "It was my fault. he said at last. "I shouldn't have been talking in such a raucous manner. I'm sorry." He sat on the grass, not bothering to move towards her. Maybe they needed some to spend some time with themselves before the wedding. After that, they would be together for as long as they lived. He turned around, his eyes a bit brighter. "You know, marriage is going to be the end of your freedom. You'll be stuck we with for eternity after the vows are said. You might want to enjoy a little free time before everything ends." The prince stood stiffly, taking a step towards her. As much as he loved her, Kaleb couldn't help but feel a twinge of anxiety towards the wedding, towards their new life, even towards her. He casually crossed his arms and faced her. "Let's make a deal. We have two months left of our life as an unmarried man and woman. We can do whatever we want. You're a princess, I'm a prince. We could have anything in the world. For two months, you focus your time on you. I'll focus my time on me. That means no more kisses, no hugs, no secret smiles, and no holding hands until our wedding day. We can talk, but no flirting and.. just think about yourself. Two months all for you, Rena. Deal?" He held out a hand.

Serena looked at KC as he spoke, just nodding at what he said. Kaleb just wanted two more months for himself, she understood. Oh well, she had lived a whole year without him. Two more months should be able, right? She would just go back to Elyadon and spend her time there until the two months were over. KC would be happy with it,so at least she could do it to make him happy. "I have one condition." she said softly, her gaze looking up and meeting his. "No affaires, okay?" she asked carefully, also holding out her hand to him, wanting KC to shake hers to show her he agreed with it.

Kaleb winced slightly at her last question, a small grin pulling over his face. "No affairs." He shook her hand firmly, tempted to entwine his fingers with hers. But he pulled away after a second and scratched the back of his neck awkwardly. "So um.. I guess I shall pick you up for dinner tonight. At six. You'll be in your chambers?"

Serena bit her lip slightly at his question. "I-I'm not sure. Maybe I will spend the next two months at Elyadon... Just to get everything straight and such... My brain is a mess at the moment and I'm not sure if I will be able to order it here..." She said quietly, shuffling with her feet. The main reason though was the fact Serena wouldn't really survive it if she was so close to KC the next two months but not being able to hug him. The girl loved to cuddle at times, and figured she could best go back to Elyadon to give KC his two months of freedom.

"You're leaving tonight? You should stay, Rena. The roads probably aren't safe, especially after.." he broke off, not wanting to start tears again. He sighed, knowing that this conversation might lead into another argument. "At least take Tristan or Nick with you. Or both, even. Just to be safe. And bring a whole procession of guards if you need to. Just stay safe, okay?" His eyes met hers, letting her know that he still loved her. She probably thought he was being an insufferable, selfish prince, wanting time all to himself.

Serena bit her lip as she looked at him. "We both know it will be better if I am in Elyadon for the next months. I'll write you, okay?" she asked softly. She didnt answer his question about taking guards with her. She mostly traveled alone, so she couldn't promise anything to Kaleb.

"I'll hold onto you," she promised swinging into her saddle after grabbing her bow and quiver, placing her hand on his leg as they moved down the path as quickly as they dared. They soon reached the house and Arabella jumped from her saddle and ran inside, hoping someone was there. She caught the attention of a girl inside who said she would run for the doctor. Arabella went back outside for Patch. "The doctor's on his way," she smiled at him, taking his feet out of the stirrups. She looked up at him. "Now you keep your promise; you stay alive. OK? For me?"

Patch smirked as the girl went to find a doctor and Arabella came back. "Sure" he said smiling fully. He slid oof of the saddle as wobbily stood, he held his side and moved over to a bench, where he said and took slow deep breaths. "Arabella, i'm blacking out" he said after a while looking at her "Don't worry about anything happening to you here, it's safe okay? I'll see you soon Arabell...a....." he said passing out. He tried his hardest to sit up straight but when everything became dark he rested on his side.
