Andrush suddenly grabbed his bow, staring into the forest outside the cave. "did you hear that? he whispered.

Elsin sat up, looking at Elizabeth. "I'm glad to wake up by your side..."

"which one that noice or the two talking?" she said sliding off his back.

Elizabeth smiled,"me too..." she smiled slightly and sat up slowly.

"Would I be worried about the shadow couple waking up?" he asked, trying to spot the source of the noise he had heared.

Elsin looked at her, forcing the shadows around him away a little. "How was your night?"

"it was okay..." elizabeth looked at him and gently touched his cheek as she spread her dark feathered wings once she snuggled into him. Her wings hugged themselves around them

"no. Your right.." she said and flickered her ears as she moved closer to the entrance.

Elsin embraced her tightly, whispering in her ear. "I'm here for you...and always will be"

Andrush raised his bow, observing the forest.

there was a blink, like if the sunlight was reflected on metal

Elizabeth nodded and stayed close slowly dropping a wing to look at the puppy and the imp.

Jasmine hissed and drew her weapon as she flattened her ears.

Lodd was laying there near Ginger. the imp had his eyes half-closed, so it was hard to tell if he was sleeping or awake.

Elsin kept holding Elizabeth, glancing in the same direction as she did.

"Poachers" growled Andrush as a gunshot rang out in the forest.

Jasmine kept her ears flattened,"maybe we should hide further in the cave.." she said.

Elizabeth stayed close to him before noticing ginger jump up scared to death and ran straight to Elizabeth who allowed her to crawl into her lap and cuddle up to her.

Andrush nodded shortly and backed up into the cave, keeping an arrow on his bowstring, ready to fire it into anyone that dared entering the cave.

Lodd jumped upon hearing the shot, hiding behind some rocks...though his tail still was peeking out, and twitching in the air.

Elsin leaned in a bit and whispered: "I'll protect you..." before he turned to the cave entrance.

Elizabeth held ginger close knowing jasmine was watching the entrance.

Jasmine tucked her ears under her hair as she wrapped her tail around her leg as she moved out into the open and sat on a rock hoping to gain attention from the poachers. She was going to lead them away with her charming looks.
